"I feel nothing". Ha my reaction as well. Never bothered to look up the shiny mega before this event didnt realise it got the purple, actually pretty dope.
Got 1 shiny from 3 quick raids after work. Easy two people duo with lvl 30 counters excepts if it had outrage.

I think I have the strongest and the weakest Mega Garchomp in the game , Level 1 Shundo ✨✨ Garchomp since December community day 2021, I haven't powered up it yet!
I have kept posting my shiny noundo from com day everytime power comes up. One day that guy will be level 50 😅

"I don't know what an ice type is." 😂 That made me laugh. I love where po go is right now, kinda dead, but at the same time, when an event like this happens, you see like 10 people randomly in a raid at your local wallyfart plaza. I got my maga while shopping, spent a buck on a remote pass, and used coins for the second pass I needed. I know I know I should have used an in person pass, but I wasn't going to abandon my 4 year old to walk over to a raid for a pokemon. Lol, but hey, I got my mega in two raids with some randos I didn't see, so it worked out. Thanks, new players. We oldies who've been around since 2016 love your help. Cheers to all the newbies out there. ❤❤❤

We used the Party feature to help knock it down faster. Hit the blue circle in the bottom left of the screen when 2 or more ppl are in any raid and in Party mode.
Did 3 raids in New Zealand last night.
My 2nd and 3rd Garchomp raids were a hundo and a shiny.
2 peeps and together in a Party for the Party Power should be enough for this pokemon.
I had a lot of fun this event, got a total of 16 Garchomps and 3 of them shiny :D. I'd attend the raid in person then use GO raid party to help bring in others through remote passes.
Actually saw 2-4 players in person hiding in their cars :D.
Great day 2nd time doing an event at a shopping mall. 7 gyms. Also did some remote raids. Could only do 2 hours. Sister had a friend come to town and thought to play bingo. We had never been to a bingo parlor.
Results for the day. Caught 21 garchomp. 5 were shiny. Won over $200 at bingo.
I have been playing for a little over 2 years. Always outside. For these events I will always consider indoors. Phone doesn't overheat. No glare. Screen doesn't have to constantly be cleaned because I am sweating to death in this miserable North Texas heat.

Zoë, out of close to 30 Mega Rapids yesterday I only got 1 Shiny Mega Garchomp... my first Garchomp ever in Pokémon GO as well. The Shiny is so epic! Best Shiny in the game only 2nd to Mega Rayquaza(of course).

I got 6 garchomp s (2 shiny, not any good IVs) not a lot of raids as was rain/snowing here today in Eastern canada.

2shinies 4 raid, two were accidental raids, i went out and people were in a lobby already so i hopped in twice, two were remote
my raid day sucked. I did some mega garchomp raids but they were too hard to catch.
Just got a shiny on the 2nd raid are you kidding me?! Like dude when i did the first raid I was in my house and went to a gym and got a magnemite and chinchou shiny like my luck is insane today!! Still will do 2 more raids. Mega evolved and it looks absolutely gorgeous!

Not doing mega Garachomp raids because as you pointed out they can't be soloed and I only have 1 remote raid pass and I need mega Kangaskhan in order to complete my Kanto pokedex so I can move on in my shiny Mew special research and get my Platinum Kanto medal because I'm solo so it's going to be another day I don't play pokemon go unless there's another way to get mega energy for Garachomp other than raids today but I need to focus on what I need not what I want

i played 19 garchomp raid, i got 19 garchomp... but none shiny or 100% ( just two 97% )

Wait how does mega energy work? I thought it was free to mega evolve after you mega evolve it for the first time
There's a cool down period. It's free again after 7 days at the first level, 5 days at the second level and 3 days at the third level. If you have heaps of that type of mega energy you can mega evolve every day to get through the levels faster but it does need mega energy until the cool down finishes

Any i only battle 3 raids
The catch rate is ridiculously low. I've caught two out of five raids because Garchomp just pops out of the ball even with excellent and great throws. Doesn't matter with golden raspberry or silver pinap. I'm over it!
