Real nice trucks they came a long way since I started Driving and with the automatics I find driving to be much more pleasurable !!!
If you take in to account maintainability and function, Peterbilt has always had one of the best air suspensions in the business.
I wish my company would get Peterbilt 579s and Kenworth T680s in place of the Intertrashional Prostar. Ive seen many companies have but mine hasnt. Right now I drive a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution and I love it.

I like that truck ,got one in march at the Pete-store in Ringgold, GA. Have MX-13 with a 13 speed tranny. 85000 on the truck now , running coast to coast. Rock got a windshield in Wyoming, was a little expensive . $600. Oh yeah!!

Probably the best choice between this and the Volvo VN,. I see this looks a bit better about the interiors quality but then a real trucker shouls try it out on the road. I'm just fan.. but I love this new big trucks. :-)

I'm glad the new trucks are finally including wall mounts for TV's. But
what about a place for the gaming system? Also why even bother with the
top bunk. In the 20+ years I've been driving I only ran team for 2
weeks. And will never do it again. 90% of us drive solo. In the next
truck include a place where one can put a PS2 or XBox. And include an
audio jack so the sound can come from the speakers without having to
trip over wires all the time. To any truck manufacturer I say this. Put a
trucker behind the wheel for 3 weeks first and listen to him. Then you would have
the perfect truck.

nice truck, but a glaring design fault for me is the bed. wouldnt it make a bit ore sense to utilise the areas where the driver and passenger seats are? so they flip forward, or slide out of the way to allow room for a proper sized bed. i know there are plenty of husband and wife teams that spend weeks and months on the road together, surely a decent bed isnt that hard to figure out on a $500k prime mover? and i get that usually when one person sleeps, the other is driving, but i am sure they could figure out a way to at least fold away or slide away the passenger seat to allow a decent sized bed with a proper mattress for the sleeping driver at least. just seems that little bed in the back there is very cramped.

Those trucks are work engines. It's all about hauling loads, and going in the 48 states. Cars are way different than this. Also they are built to last, and take a beating on the road. Cars are just commuters.

Does the engine eat its own soot like the Cummins engines do.
The Cummins engine is an American engine. The MX-13 is from Europe, so a complete other engine.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT COLOR WAS USED ON THIS TRUCK. PAINT CODE? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED
