Listen! I love kcs, but she's always pitchy. That's why i always say she's n my top 10, but Kim's my #1. Kims ear is superior, perfect & more dynamic. Karen has range, but it always have her singing in-between & chasing her note. If u have a musical ear u will agree. If ur a die hard kcs fan you'll be defensive.
She can get pitchy at times, but I wouldn’t say she’s “pitchy”. I think it’s only when she sings in the higher part of the range, which she probably doesn’t have as much control over since she’s older and has lost some weight. Singing is a physically demanding activity; so there’s going to be some blemishes and imperfections.
Apparently it was one of the lady’s favorite songs, which is why Karen sang it. See that’s what you do at a homegoing service or paying tribute to someone. You do things you know they would like. 🙄
