can we just take a moment to realize all of that was written by isayama. It's just amazing, he's a genius.
The world building of this series is just so well written. It has to be my favorite series out of anything for a very long time and I'm sure many others feel the same way.
The first season was "simple" and was just about killing titans. But there was that underlying mystery that everyone was thinking about: "Where did the Titans come from? How were the walls created? Is that really all there was to humanity?"
There were so many vague hints and clues throughout the series that just seemed like random images and scenes for shock value and symbolism of the grim world that the story was set in; but they were so perfectly placed and paced that when everything was revealed, you were shocked but what added even more to that shock was when you started piecing those "hints/clues" together. Perfect examples would be Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie's interactions in Season 1; no one really suspected anything until things were revealed, and when they looked back.. The suspicions were clear as day. And those random images you see in the series here and there from Eren's memories and etc. they make a lot more sense if you've read the manga.
In the beginning, you knew that there was something more to the world and that humanity was oblivious or kept in the dark about their place and upbringing, but you didn't know why that was and who/what made it that way. The slow revelations and build up through the political strife (Season 3 in particular being the barrage of truth bombs for the series), social tension, and grim truths about the world in the grand scheme of things is what makes this story a masterpiece.
Can't wait for season 4 and I'm glad that Attack on Titan is going to have an end and not be dragged out, risking a severe drop in quality like other series.
You should try the anime Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood. Its really great, and has amazing world building

we do know that, Hange used to hate titans and when she kicked a titan, she was confused this pushed her to titan research. and she even stated her self in the year 844, that the main objective for her is "is too find the titans and kill them" that was before she put her mind into titan research.

One small thing to note here was that ymir didn't actually die from the assassination, she lost her will to live due to Fritz's cold response to her protection and her desperate strive for affection which in the end she only ever got from Eren.

I don't know, I just like the fact that, they're the kings not because they're the ones sitting on the throne, but because of their blood. There's something in their blood that no matter their position is, whether they remove their official title as king, maybe even try to live among the lowest class, they would still remain to be "The King". And how powerful it is, that Even by a single touch, even if historia or zeke is veeeery far off from their first ancestor, it can do so much.
The ackermans as well, Like literally everyone has it in them, just waiting to be awakened. I mean, i think even Levi's mom is capable of being as powerful as her son, or at least, a bit stronger than other soldiers if she had enough proper training. Just, wow
Levi's mom would then have a better future and so would her son. Imagine being an unbeatable soldier's kid... Poor Ackermans.

6. imagine historia ate eren that day (in titan form), so what advantage would the royal family get?

2. He ate the previous holder. Marley has Eldian “warriors” who are in charge of inheriting these abilities for the sake of being their “weapons” for possible wars against Eldia. (Just like Annie, Bertholdt, Reiner)
3. He wanted to rebel against his parents. He felt like he was just being used as their “spy”. (He also betrayed his parents, btw. That’s fucked up)
4. No. Ymir was an Eldian inside Marley’s walls. Eldians are mistreated by Marley, and are turned into Titans to terrorize their fellow clueless Eldians in Paradis Island. When the Marley gov’t found out of her race, she was turned into a wandering mindless titan. We see in S2 that Bertholdt and Reiner had another companion (another titan shifter) when they were sent to a mission as “warriors” but he was eaten by Ymir’s wandering titan self. This is why she became a titan shifter.
5. There were still pure Eldians inside Marley’s walls and that is why the Marleyan government finds them and turns them into titans. They keep their Eldian lineage a secret, but Kruger wanted to revolt. He wanted to spy against Marley’s government and demand Eldia’s power back.
6. They would get the founding titan and attack titan back. They just wanted to preserve the tradition and not let the people know the truth bc they’re blind followers of the First King of The Walls.
7. No one knows yet. This is still a mystery.
8. yeah he made some contract with rod reiss or smth but he got betrayed in the end bc rod transformed himself into a titan. also kenny had formed a truce with the royal family bc of uri reiss so he continued doing his job as Protector of The Royal Family
