ymir the founder had 3 daughters who had each 3 daughters, that's why there is 9 titans shifters. So at a certain period of time there were only 3 titans in the world

@@roml9235 I dont think it was the 3 daughters and 6 nobles that caused the split into 9. I think it was only the 3 daughters that ate the ymir and inherited the titan powers and the king forced continuous cannibalism of the titan shifters over time until they stopped dividing at 9 separate titan shifters. The founding titan power was kept by the royal family but the other 8 passed on to close eldian noble houses that were subservient to the royal family. I think thats how the divide into 9 happened

After the death of Ymir Fritz, her powers weren't divided to the 9 titan forms directly, instead the king made his 3 daughters eat Ymir's corps whole and from there they each inherited 3 of the titans, then they were divided to the 9 we know today after.
How did the royal blood come into play
its not genetics, Ymir actually chooses who gets to use founder it just so happens she follows royal succession rules . So just like in real life any illigitimate children born from the royals mistresses, concubines or the odd peasants girl may technically have royal blood , they arent candidates for the thrones.
This makes you wonder how the 3 daughters were able to make 6 more though.

it was not shown what are the first 3 Titans after Ymir Fritz' founding titan
so they probably have over 3 children each and then maybe sooner than that they gave the power to the Noble Families however the Founding Titan will be always on the Royal Family

There are many more actually, but for what I've seemed to think about is that the chart talks about the era from which they have (subjects of ymir) possessed the titan. Just like cropping a whole picture.
This does not explain the great doubt of the manga: if all three daughters of King Fritz and Ymir have inherited the power of the titans, it means that all their descendants have royal blood....so every Eldians in the walls and outside the walls have some parts of royal blood!
Genes are weird. After that long of a period of time from when they ate their mother, down to where we are at in the anime/manga, the royal blood would have been long gone, or at the very least, not enough to supplement the powers needed.
@@portorolla4157 But that doesn't make sense, you don't have to be a descendent of the Founding titan to be part of the Royal Family because that discussion only makes sense if you start from the assumption that the power to control Ymir reside in the Founding Titan, what is not true. What controls Ymir is the loyalty that she has to the Royal Family. King Fritz, for example, does not have any titan power but could fuly control Ymir

If its anime only then the spinal like thingy under the tree wherein ymir fell down while being hunted after she let the pig out should not be even mentioned. Even the tybur family and the warhammer titan. Another one is that galliard was the one who ate ymir to get the jaw titan's power. And he passed it on to falco.
Also forgot Xavier as the Beast Titan before Zeke.
Despite a few mistakes this did actually clear up the story for me nice and concisely.

I swear i had a dream about 3 other titans that divided to the 9 titans now, the 1st one had the collosal, armored and war hammer with all 3 represented a worrior the 2nd one had the attack, founding and female titan with represented a normal titan and 3rd one titan had beast, jaws and cart titan with represented a monster. i only remembered the the monster one it was called the monsterous titan. There is actually way more than just that although the history of it doesnt appear but its very fucking interesting, in the battle where reiner, mikasa, levi, connie and etc were fighting on eren’s founding titan spine, pieck acknowledged the titans and knew what they were, the past inheritors and, correct me if im wrong, future titan inheritors, if we knew their history its gonna be excruciatingly interesting

didn't mention that those who from non-royal blood family (ymir's tree clan) can't have the power of founding titan, even if he/she eat them, but the power hide inside him/her waiting to be trigger by touch or made contact by one of the royal blood.
anyone ever wonder what would have happened if grisha had turned eren into a titan, but erens pure titan form was an abnormal, so instead of eating grisha he turned around and got killed by a scout. because then grisha would be stuck with the attack titan and founding titan powers, and his 13 years was about to end, so it would have gone to a random person. how different the story would have been

We don’t know for sure that the Attack Titan was being passed down by Eldians on the continent that whole time. All we know is that the Attack-On Titan was lost after the Great Titan War. I believe its more likely that it was killed in battle and from there lost from history until the Eldian Restorationists were able to find it.
my theory is that after the Great Titan War, the Attack Titan somehow manages to hide since it can see future memories

@@fuunlife Eren Kruger was a high ranking Officer in Marley. In his childhood, his parents were taken from him by the discrimination the people of Marley held against Eldians. Eldians being the race of people who can turn into titans. At some unknown time of his life, he aquired the Attack titan and a high ranking position in the Marleyan army. Through this position, he secretly fed an Eldian resistance information to be used against Marley.
Kruger first met Grisha Yaeger when Grisha was only around 10 years old. Grisha and his little sister wanted to see what was on the outside of the designated Eldian zone, so they snuck out in the middle of the day. The officers who caught them were one unnamed officer who loved to torture Eldians and Eren Kruger. The unnamed officer killed Grisha's sister, and Kruger wanted to spare Grisha's life by simply beating him up. After this experience, Grisha decided he wanted to rebel, so after a few years he joined the Eldian resistance Kruger was helping. To them, Kruger was an unknown figure only known to them as "The Owl". Grisha fell in love with Dina Fritz (a member of the resistance and someone of royal descent). Together they had a child who would later go on to posses the Beast Titan: Zeke Yaeger. With little compassion, Zeke was bred to be Eldia's greatest weapon against Marley. This did not go as planned however, when he turned on them and got the whole resistance captured.
All the resistance members were brought to the island of Paradis (home of the 3 walls, Eren Yaeger and bestboi Levi). There they were all turned into titans. Many of them can be seen invading the walls in the start of the series; most notably Dina Fritz, who was the blonde titan who ate Eren Yaeger's mom.
Before anyone could turn him into a mindless titan, Grisha was freed by Eren Kruger. He shifted into his Attack Titan form and killed all the Marleyan soldiers who were guarding them. With little time left of his life (titan shifters can only live for 12 years after becoming a titan shifter), Kruger passed down his Attack titan to Grisha, who would behind the scenes of episode one of season one confront the royal family living within the walls. He wanted them to free the imprisoned Eldians together, but the philosophy of King Fritz wouldn't allow it. Future Eren would then use his ability to talk to owners of the attack titan (regardless of time) to persuade -- or rather force Grisha to eat the founding titan. With little time left of his life (12 year titan rule), Grisha passed down the Attack and Founding titan down to his son Eren.
As for Historia's half sister:
Historia was a bastard born from Rod Reiss' affair with one of his maids. Inside Rod's genuine family, he had maybe 3-4 children, the oldest being the one to posses the founding titan. Unfortunately, she was eaten by Grisha.
Btw, some ages, numbers or facts in general might be wrong in this explanation. I'd advice checking the wiki.
