Been trying but can't figure out if/how i missed or forgot about the original release of this song, but I love this mix. Just found it on your page after listening to the newly issued alternate mixes of Diana's "Your Love is..." which I agree is quite different from the original version and "The same love...." for which I was hoping for a more dramatic remix but as you pointed out somewhere an alternate is not a re - mix.
how timely to remind me of this - all it took was one + - just a few weeks after replacing the aging desktop that died over a year ago with a fully loaded laptop now that i finally resolved my mortgage thanks to no one else and pick up where i left off on new music, remixes, and all those reissues i have on a list somewhere now that i have rejoined this viral world i will always remain leery of as of course i post this on FB for the appreciation of 3 music aficionados and long tine friends while the rest remain unenlightened despite my efforts. Off to see Diana again in February.
impossible to find this ORIGINAL version because shortly after this original version and remix some group called The Source took over this song and ruined it -in every way possible. Thanks for posting this.
The original Candi Staton version is from ‘86 I believe. This is from ‘89. Paul Simpson’s original musical freedom instrumental, with the you got the love vocals added. 👍
Que gratificante es escuchar estos discos que yo ponia en las discos en el 2023 i 2024....
Classic, have been mixed so many times!

Free at last.....
Original. The acapella of this is The Source of the Source.
