This story hit me so hard, I've got two cats and I know that feeling of panic you had over the shelter possibly not having had Evie. The second and older cat I got disappeared for two weeks from the shelter I'd been visiting him through, and I just remember the panic and crumbling feeling of like "Oh no, I missed my opportunity, my cat isn't there and I think it's definitely the one I was meant to have" but it was a happy ending in the end. Turns out the person that adopted him treated him horrendously and he was taken back to the shelter. So I've had my older cat for a little under two years now and thank you, for advocating both for adopting and going through reputable breeders to get animals. They all deserve a chance to be adopted and given a great home :)

Omg I love this I was hoping you had a video like this her in the truck riding was so cute, wish I could share the pics of my babies. I have adopted cats to, I just recently lost my older male cat that I had for 12 years he loved to ride in cars when we moved people thought he was a stuffed animal lol
It's so lovely to hear a happy adoption story. Thank you for sharing. She looks so happy and loved. I've had pets until this apartment where it's against the lease and I miss them so much
Crying I too adopted a cat that I just knew she was mine. I actually went for a different cat and my Allie was in a cage next to the other I held her and she instantly rubbed against my head and purred
