The messages mic icon is now located at the BOTTOM LEFT CORNER OF THE PHONE!!! WHICH IS A STUPID LOCATION BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE I HOLD MY PHONE :(
Users are looking for the mic back on the basic keyboard so that it's always visible/accessible able to type and switch between the keyboard and mic input modes without popping a second screen over top of the keyboard killing all speedy hybrid editing.
ITS ON BOTTOM LEFT OF PHONE - I KINDA LIKE IT NOW - ITS EASIER TO TOUCH AS ITS IN THE CORNER OF THE PHONE
friend thanks for using caps i was ignorant and looked was not, but your caps made me look again and again and it is there lol its just tiny on bottom corner
I CAN'T FIND IT.
Its where the 3 options on your bottom of the phone are at (see apps open, home and back button) .when you open the keyboard it'll pop up LEFT CORNER i@jamesnuzzi5845
Thank you! I've tried for days to figure this out!
Found it. Update changed it.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Thank you very much,it was helpfull.
Mine has Samsung Keyboard already selected, but the Microphone option is still not available in Samsung Notes in S23 Ultra. Any Suggestions?

@@massp0108Thank you!
Thank you for helping.
Thank you. That worked. Now I have proper punctuation.
Is there a way to opt out of these kinds of updates??
Ugh I wish we could opt out of these type of updates where they change stuff we don't want changed! They rarely improve the experience, and more often than not just cause frustration. Samsung: Please ask users' permission before you MOVE or REMOVE a feature that we like to use! 😡
@@OboeSteph me too. Is there a way?
Can you do this with the Google keyboard as well?
After update Samsung and Google both quite werking also third party "Speech to Text" I had been using for 2 years does not work. Need for job and writing project.
This is the help I got from Samsung directly , see if it works

Still not working
Mines not working wth
Since the update on galaxys, the Google voice button is on the bottom left corner, looks like a keyboard!!!
Cities in the bottom left if you use the Google
It's so frustrating. I have tried everything and still can't get my microphone back. 😢
Probably the same update that messed up mine today
I just found mine. It's in the bottom left corner of the phone. When you click and open the keyboard, they moved it
I had to call Samsung and was on the phone with them for an hour. They finally got it fixed. Said that it was a glitch. They ended up remotely fixing it because everything I was doing wasn't working. I'm so happy they got it fixed, though. It's kind of crucial to have as I run my own business and need it sometimes to use while I'm working and taking care of business.
@@jrlillo44 - Thank you. I was going through the same thing.
@jrlillo44 - thanks. Mine is in the lower left corner below the keyboard
I did this on my S23+ and it didn't work. Now what?
What exactly didn't work?
Did it as suggested. Did not work
This didn’t work for me.
But I did figure it out.
The toolbar has to be enabled
Hi where is the tool bar? Thanks in advance
@@chrisbowles5388 settings/general management/Samsung keyboard then enable the keyboard toolbar switch
As was I say they put it now in the corner right hand corner
Thanks I had to do it a different way because on the s23 it still wasn't allowing me. Basically I already had it at that setting and it still wasn't coming up I had to switch to Google keyboard for it to work. And that's a whole nother video.

WOW wtf? I've been searching for days for this, thank you. I hate that, it's the same place I hold it.
Thanks! I've been wondering where it went!
Tried that its still not working wtf
It did not put the microphone on text thanks for the video though
just updated & it disappeared.. did this is still not there! even after a reset & reboot
Same
They just removed this on S23 ultra.
Your Right!! So Now what do we do? Don't tell me I have to type now
Do what he did then when you go into messages make it to wear you'd type in the box and look down on bottom left corner
@@randyharris9 I took it to my service provider & let them fix it.
My speech to text icon disappeared. Ever since an update 😠 😡 😤 😣 I can't add it back. I'm already set to Google voice input
Here are a few potential solutions to get the microphone icon back:
Check your keyboard settings: Go to your device's Settings, then navigate to Language and input. Make sure Google voice typing is enabled. If you're using a Samsung keyboard, you might need to enable Samsung voice input as well.
Long-press the space bar: Open an app that requires a keyboard, such as the Messaging app. Long-press the key to the left of the space bar, and you should see the Microphone icon displayed in the pop-up menu as one of the available options.
Press and hold the gear icon: Press the icon where the Mic button used to be located and hold it for several seconds. The Mic icon should show up along with several other icons. Select the Mic icon.
Open GBoard App: If you're using the GBoard keyboard, try opening the GBoard app, then go to Settings, and enable "Show suggestions" under "A✓ Text Correction".
Select more keyboards: Go to Settings, then Language & Keyboard, and select "Current keyboard". You should see a pop-up screen that says "Change Keyboard". At the bottom, click on "Select more". Here, you should see Google voice typing. Select this, and the microphone icon should reappear on your keyboard.
If none of these solutions work, you might want to try restarting your device or checking for any additional updates to the Google Messages app or your device's operating system.
Let me know if any of these solutions help you get the speech-to-text icon back! 😊
There's no voice input setting under keyboard settibgs anymore
You have to hit the keyboard icon on the bottom left and change to voice input. Hard to do while driving. Wanted to give the Samsung keyboard another try since it has some AI features now but looks like I'm going back to gboard
Didn't work for s24 ultra
The speech-to-text icon has been moved to the bottom-left corner, below the space bar.
@@shawnw6950 I came here for that very reason, man it was hard to see especially if you use gestures lol!
@shawnw6950 Weird place to put it... Not sure if I like it down there.
Anyway to change it from there
It didn't work for me but I did click on the rest to default settings. Then rest keyboard settings and got it back
Now its on the bottom left. Such a weird location

Speech to text on the samsung keyboard is mediocre.
Didn't wirk
That doesn't work
To enable voice input speech to text on the keyboard on Samsung Galaxy S23, you can try the following steps:
Method 1: Enable microphone button on Navigation bar
Go to Settings > General Management > Keyboard list and default
Toggle on Keyboard button on Navigation bar
The microphone button should now be visible in the bottom left corner of your keyboard.
Method 2: Set space bar to long press for voice to text
Go to Settings > General Management > Samsung Keyboard Settings > Swipe, Touch, & Feedback
Set Touch and hold space bar to enable voice to text
Alternatively, you can also use Gboard as your keyboard app, which supports voice to text functionality.
If you're still experiencing issues with voice to text, try clearing the app data for Samsung Voice input:
Go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Voice input
Go to Manage Storage > Clear app data
Restart your device
If the issue persists, you can try resetting all settings:
Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset All settings
Confirm the reset
If you're still experiencing issues, please submit an error report to Samsung:
Open the Menu
Press & Hold Samsung Members Icon, then tap Error Reports
Select the Category of your report
Make sure Send System Log Data is selected
Describe your problem in details (including the hashtag #SCommunity)
Change the Frequency and send
I hope this helps
Im telling you lol

Which part exactly?
@WebproeducationOrgTechnology it wasn't on none, and I tried both Google and Samsung, they sent an update and permanently changed my toolbar
