Which phone do you think is the better buy? 🤔
Xaiomi 14
I live in Finland and no one sells Xiaomi here because they refuse to leave the Russian market. I can get Samsung S24+ 512GB version here for about under 800€ and Xiaomi costs 1099€ on their own webstore. So I would have to go for Samsung because of these reasons.
If Xiaomi had dropped prices just a little it would have done a lot of damage to Samsung. Other than that I really hope Xiaomi starts working on software more aggressively, I expect so much more from them, they can out perform Samsung pretty easily.
Xiaomi 14 is half the price of S24 here in my country.. and I'm loving it.. its a better buy!!
Of course s24
I bought a Xiaomi 14. I have to say that taking photos with it is an incredible experience. Every single shot looks absolutely gorgeous, especially if you turn on Leica's Vivid Mode. For regular people who just need a compact phone that takes fantastic pics the Xiaomi 14 is certainly one of the best options on the market right now.
Hi, how is the phone performing in longterm?
@@Aditya-zb9ir So far so good. My main complaints are that the phone tends to get a bit hot under heavy usage and that it could have a slightly bigger battery. But anyway, if you activate optimized quick charge, it goes from 0 to 100% in half an hour, so that's not that big of an issue.

Thanks for responding!!
Helps alot.
I am really confused between s24 & Xiaomi 14 with little lean towards Xiaomi because of all the practical reasons including battery and charging speed.
Photography is important especially at low-light, from what I have heard & seen, Xiaomi does well in low light as well.
So thinking of getting one.
Xiaomi 14 much better
Are you seeing any adds in the MiUi interface?
currently watching this video on my brand new Xiaomi 14 Pro (replaced Redmi Note 10 Pro with it)
Thank you so so much for Xiaomi 14 reviews, you really helped me with my decision!!
Really glad to hear that 😊 thanks for watching and for the kind words!
Reading this comment with my Redmi Note 10 pro lol and I'm thinking of getting the Xiaomi 14 pro
I really enjoyed watching this video 👍🏻 thank you and keep it up
I'm loving this. Please Young Won can you show more Xiaomi 14 sample pictures, the camera features, video modes etc. Like an in depth review of the camera only for Xiaomi 14. Love your content!
Brother can you tell me which Launcher / Theme you're using in this unit of Xiaomi 14 you've got? ❤
Would you please drop the wallpaper you used on these phones?
Does the fact that you've used the Exynos variant change certain aspects of the review, such as camera processing output and even the vibration motor. Could the SD variant just be a bit better? Really torn between the S24+ SD and Xiaomi 14 Pro EU
nah, even the S24 Ultra with the 8 gen 3 for Galaxy has some overexposing/balancing issues, this is more software related.
@@casuarius6576 ^ this
Is your xiaomi 14 global version or china version? If it's china version can you use eSIM on it?
looks china version on the firmware update.
thanks for the video comparison 🙏🏻🥰
Thanks for watching 😊
When you open the task manager how did you get all tasks next to each other on the xiaomi 14? Like on iphone. When I open task manager on my xiaomi they are stacked on the top of each other.. im on EU rom
miui or hyper os?
@@comedyman112 found it in the settings thanks
Does xiaomi 14 any feature like Samsung dex, i think xiaomi have usb type c 3.1 ,does it have video output on its usb
Yes
More than that
@@Yogesh-cc4uflike what? Dex is easily better.
Awesome content and video comprision as always brother
Thank you so much 😊
@hoyoungwon I would decide which one do I going to buy now brother
Nice 🔥
@@usmanabdulkadir3334 Which one did you get?
Hi , in Xiaomi 14 with normal using like browsing and social media apps is the phone get worm? , what about the battery life screen on time for social media apps with wifi ?
Thermals are great. I only saw issues during my first 2 weeks of using it and nothing else afterwards. For the battery life, check the battery part of the video 👆
Hello the thermals is great especially when playing genshin on high graphics and browising social media apps on direct sunlight is great also compared to my experience with F3 under the same conditions that F3 tends to get hot
@@irugadark123 what about the battery life with your experience with using Xiaomi 14 ?
@@mohamedayad-5481 great so far I'm always left my data on at all times and only charge when I come home. Haven't used my backup powerbank which i usually experience when my old phone(poco f3)
@@hoyoungwon thank you for your reply anthor question please about app notifications if I will buy the chinese version of xiaomi 14 is there delay of apps notification ?
where can i buy xiaomi phone in south korea brother
Great Review,
when I visited korea last week of march I experienced the fogging issue on my xiaomi
here in the Philippines, the fogging issue is noticeable as we have a very hot weather this summer and whenever we enter a colder environment let say in a car or in a room, the lens starts to fog or moist
any phone ?
Try putting your phone in a box with silica gel on top the camera lens overnight to remove the trapped moist that causes fogging.
So weird. I also had many of those days during Korean summers (very hot and humid) but didn't have that occur
I'm from the ph and fortunately i don't experience this I'm usually going from 22°c to 40°c temp
Unplugging the SIM card slot and placing it in a dry environment can greatly alleviate this problem.
Hi bro i have a brand new s24 plus but im not happy with display .ate you experiencing tha same?
I'm happy with it myself tbh. Big upgrade from the S23+
@@hoyoungwonbig upgrade?
which one?
i want to know and want upgrade to s24+🥺
Higher resolution + higher peak brightness + LTPO (1~120Hz variable refresh rate)
@hoyoungwon galaxy S23 plus display still looks better in term of colour saturation compared to s24 plus.
@@drshnkmr49are you high the s24 plus has 2k display and adaptive refresh rate from 120hz down to 1hz to save battery where 23 plus was going down to 48hz and a 1080p display
Xiaomi all the way
💪
Can I use flash while using ultra wide lens in both phones?
Not sure about Xiaomi, but Samsung still doesn't allow flash photography on the ultra wide lens. Read a post back where they just don't allow it because the flash wouldn't fill in the ultra-wide frame. No software update has been announced as well regarding this as far as ik
Where can I get this wallpaper?
Good video as always ✅
Search up 'Stratum Skies' on Backdrops app 😊
Thanks for watching!
Why comparing the x14 with the s24+ instead of 14 pro vs S24+ or 14 vs s24?
Price lines up.
6:41 Xiaomi has an on screen time information its just in "parental control and digital wellbeing" you can also put it on your homescreen.
I have the Exynos S24+ and I feel like its the sweet spot for the Galaxy S line this year.
💯 agreed
It is not better than SD at all and should not be accepted in their high-end phones
@@AhmedSh-nc6lj SD isn't any better except than efficiency on 5G. Anyway is better to complain for the modem issues and wait for Samsung to solve it, better than relying on third party chip makers who only want to monopolise the market.
@@casuarius6576 Dude give it a rest. Exynos chipsets on S24 series have far worse performance on battery life and have the same heat issues too. Peep the comparisons lol.
@@ptbauro the modem is causing it, Samsung needs to fix it.
for sure xiaomi 14 512gb because of its price, it cost INR70k and s24+ 512gb costs 110k and iPhone 15 512gb 106k you choose which one while they are offering exactly same or xiaomi offering more feature and quality (for price consideration) if price is not an issue for anyone they can go with iPhone 15 pro max or Sony Xperia 1 VI(launching soon)
It literally doesn't offer more and doesn't offer more quality. That exactly why no one wants to do an actual UI comparison because Samsung is basically second to none in terms of all-around use and performance.
if that s24+ is the snapdragon variant, it might be better in more category
What about PWM and eye strain?
xiaomi has 1920hz
@@nikhilt3755 I know and I'm curious about eyes fatigue comparing Xiaomi 14 with S24+ 480hz afer longer usage.
Xiaomi 14 is slightly more expensive than the S24 in the UK but only has 4 years of support vs 7 on the samsung, so value is significantly lower. I like Samsungs multi-window, secure-folder, samsung wallet, notes, good-lock etc so the samsung wins for me for multiple reasons
Ive bought xiaomi on aliexpress discount. Great phone!
Chinese manufacturers insisting on copying the Apple split notification shade concept is maddening. I hate iPhones, why would I want my android to emulate one.
But, in my country xiaomi 14 it has gone viral because the phone has a main camera that will fog up if you record 4K for a few minutes. What do u think? Did u have same problem on ur xiaomi 14 😅
No I didn't have that issue
Happened to mine within 10 mins of setting up, and that was indoors too! Happened 3 times so far, but all in the first week and not since. I hope it won't come back again. Also had some fog on the 3.2x lens 😓
I got xiaomi 14 for a month and a half i highly recommend it tbh
To be honest I prefer the design and width of 24+ also the ratio of 19:5:9 is better for me than 20:9.
Yep the extra width making the phone larger but more compact

I will order a Xiaomi 14 Pro from China. It will be better than both devices, especially the almost unbreakable screen.. Xiaomi has Automated tasks similar to the routines as well
Nice! Hope you enjoy it
I'm probably gonna buy the s24plus because it design, more popular, better features like ai, and ecosystem.
Just got xiaomi 14 uk version from an amazon deal for £560 512gb great phone
That's a really sweet deal 😮
Wish motorola would compete in this space.. moto phones are just disappointing as a competitor to Samsung, and Sony is way too expensive relative to every other brand
Xiaomi 14 is to be compared with the S24
Xiaomi 14 pro to be compared with the S24 plus
Xiaomi 14 utlra is to be compared with the S24 U.
Xiaomi 14 to S24+ isn't a fair comparison imo.
isn t fair but still won against s24+ XDDD
Xiaomi 14 always
Xiaomi 14 better main cam by far.
Xioumi's os is nothing compaired to one ui
Yeah, there's nothing to compare because xiaomi is far more better than samsung
Samsung s24 + win far
Xiaomi 14 for me
S24+ is exynos. Snapdragon only for China, USA, Canada
I think its a bit unfair if you compare xiaomi 14 with s24+, so s24 is its really "enemy" not plus. Now you can Get xiaomis device cheaper than Samsungs ultra, a lot cheaper, in my country, at least.
I think it is a price point. Xiaomi 14 and the plus version of the S24 are closest in price. Which is sort of insane now that I've said it.
Xiaomi 14 has the better hardware, but the S24+ has the better software. So it really depends on what you're looking for at this price point.
Exactly
7 years of os support is a big win for me
👌👌
good luck charging your phone so slow for 7 years...😊😊
how about processor support😂
@egcozinon it charges in like 45-50 minutes with the 45W charging. It's just over an hour with the 30W charging. Xiaomi fans are brainwashed and need to justify their purchase to everyone all the time 😂😂
X14 with EU rom is much better. Also with root of course
In what way? I've mostly heard otherwise because EU ROM is missing a lot features that's available on the China ROM
@@hoyoungwon EU rom removes much of the bloat from chinese rom, and the trackers are gone, and battery life is therefore better.
I would not buy any of them. I would buy the smaller 6.2 inches Samsung Galaxy S24. I have big hands, but I prefer pocket friendly phones. If I want to surf the web or watch videos at home I just use my tablet.
what size is ur tablet?
To each their own 🤷♂️
The base S24 is really nice too
@@edgarjuntak My tablet is 11,5 inch. Perfect size. Not to small, not to big.
I love a smaller phone too, and surprisingly the Xiaomi 14 feels really nice in the hand and comfortable in the pocket.
The flat sides and slightly curved back make a big difference, it feels more compact.
I think Xiaomi might just be right, they hit the sweet spot to balance screen size with compactness. Hope they still to this size and it doesn't grow over time.
I prefer Samsung
The software won it
Xiaomi is a good phone but user interface is very important 😅. I recently bought 😂 Xiaomi 14 and coming from stock Android to Hyper OS is not easy. Many things are frustrating
I feel you
100%! That's why I went back to my Pixel 8 which, even though it's a way less powerful phone and takes worst pictures, has an UI that makes sense :/ I miss the battery life and the 30m charging time of the Xiaomi 14 too 😢
I've been using Xiaomi 14 for over 3 weeks now. It's a really good phone but it needs some time, that has always been the case with Xiaomi, I was using a Xiaomi redmi phone before this one and first year was not good but once Xiaomi starts working on software there's no other smartphone better than Xiaomi, not even Samsung or iPhone. I hope they work on the software, it's not exactly bad but I expect much much better from Xiaomi, I've had an amazing experience with Xiaomi and I'm sure with time it's just gonna get better. Can't wait for Xiaomi to release updates and can't wait to see Xiaomi crush Samsung completely in the next few years.
Same! Can't wait for HyperOS to improve
Well there's no choice here in my country Xiaomi 14 goes for 670$ while s24+ goes for 820$ so it's a clear winner for Xiaomi 14 and the phone is absolutely Amazing
Greetings. At the same price, which would you prefer?
main issue with xiaomi 14 series including ultra is the fogging issue which started on their 13t series 😢
only if you are recording in 8k and 4k.... but on full HD there's no fogging
for real, samsung No Need 'Leica'
S24+ snapdragon is the phone of the year
It's definitely up there with the best
Only the sdg one, the one with exynos is ass
Exynos is just bad compared to SD
Really 😅 , with three year old camera sensors , Exynos , slow charging and costs 30% more than Xiaomi 14 in some regions(India)
@@sv6180 Exynos is an advantage in the long term

Is S23 a better option than Xiaomi 14?
absolutely not... not even s24 is better

Lmao, no.
Samsung
xiaomi 14 is closer to the s24 ultra than to the s24+
I value the camera more so the Xiaomi is my winner
👌
I am genuinely curious why does Samsung even persist with the inferior Exynos on their flagships? Just get another series just under the S series and use exynos in that and get Snapdragon all across the globe for the flagship series.
Cuz of cost, if they were to keep using Snapdragon SoC, be prepared to face a price hike. Using Exynos also promotes competition, yes I get that it isn't on par with its counterparts, but as long as they keep trying, I'm pretty they will succeed.
Both too overpriced
The S24+ is def the best phone of 2024!! Xiaomi is ugly AF
7 years of update doesn't matter as we are getting green lines after 2 years anyway...like my s21 and s23 ultra
Isn't it Oneplus the one with the green lines?
@@kaigreene6188 yeah samsung and oneplus both. because oneplus buys displays from samsung. Haven't you seen what's happening with s21 series and s21 fe phones?
