It really bothered me, even when I saw the for the first time on tv, how much of the car was destroyed to make the buggy. There were so many parts that could have gone to other cars that were smashed off.

Ed China loves his beetles so those part will no doubt have found a home.
the only parts that were smashed are the rear wheel arches, but they were visibly rotten.
I wish WD would play more of the early episodes. They are so intersting. 😊
