    I have the original Z6 in addition to the Fuji Xt-2. Love the Ergonomics, evf, ibis, high resolution lcd, but I really miss the tri angling lcd screen that the xt-2 has. I like fuji colors a little better straight out of camera and the film simulations are amazing. As well as the dynamic range 200 and 400% options. The active D lighting on the nikon is good but I think fuji allows more dynamic range with their feature. I tried the Z7 for a while and found the noise to be much worse than on the Z6, and the extra resolution was hard to notice unless you pixel peep side by side at at least 100%. I am more looking forward to the next generation Z cameras with the z9 level autofocus. The Z lenses are great. The 24-120 is a star as well as the 40 f2. Thanks for sharing the amazing images.

      Thank you for sharing! I hope they release the Mark III Nikons next year or a Z8. I would love a Z6 III with more video options. For me the Nikon Z7 II has one of the best sensors for landscape and incredible dynamic range at ISO 64.

    I'm on the verge of buying a Z7 II to upgrade from my aging D750. I would love to see a video showing FTZ II AF performance on the Z7 II with all the latest software updates soon... There are no good videos on CZcams that show this.

Anyway I have my hopes down now, because I think the processors that would be needed are going for all the Z9 purchases.

    I'm looking to replace / upgrade my 7dmkii + 6D kit , most of which was lost to major , unprecedented flooding where I live.
    I'm down to 7Dii body , a 100-400 zoom and a cheap kit lens that I never got around to disposing of.
    I previously used the 7dii for wildlife and action and the 6d for everything else .
    Im seriously considering the z7ii to replace the lot . With the Z , I can shoot in crop mode to gain the extra reach of the apsc format for wildlife , or crop in post with the higher pixel count. I will also have all the advantages of full frame.
    I can get the z7ii for less than the price of a r6 and r7 combo , which have completely different control layouts that will make swapping between them difficult.
    I would be interested , in your , or anyone else's thoughts on my predicament.

    • @AndreiDimaReviews
      @AndreiDimaReviews  Před 2 lety

      Hello, the Z7II is a great camera for wildlife just like its predecessor the Nikon D850. In my opinion if you already have Canon lenses and you are used to the layout of Canon cameras maybe you should consider the EOS R7 with an adapter and a Canon RP for everything else.

    • @AndreiDimaReviews
      @AndreiDimaReviews  Před 2 lety +2

      You get better results in low light but during the day and in good light conditions the Fujifilm is better in my opinion. Another thing the files from the Nikon show artefacts and noise really quickly when you color grade them more, the Fujifilm files can be pushed more. I prefer the Fuji, but both can give you great results.

    Great review. Got the Z6 because the price for the Z7 was a little bit out of range, back then. But I think I will hold out for the Z8 if it will be what D850 is to DSLR, but with tech drizzled down from the Z9.
    Unprocessed raw picture? I don't think that is possible. There is alway some kind of picture profile applied when a raw file is viewed - either from a editing software or the operating system.
