That is the "Arena di Verona", an amphitheater like Colosseum, located in Verona.
It is not as big as the other, but it's considered the largest and oldest open-air theater in the world, still working. Since the nineteenth century it has hosted performances of all kinds, from opera music to concerts by international artists.
Curious fact -> this performance was recorded during the coronavirus lockdown, so no public, in place of which there are lights with the colors of the European flag: blue for the background and yellow / gold for the stars.
The singer, in the middle of this empty arena, sings: "fai rumore quí.." which means "make noise here.."

@@LegionGames2076 They do look similar, but if you know them you can tell them apart clearly because 1) the Colosseum is almost round, whereas the Arena di Verona is more markedly elliptical, and 2) the Colosseum is sort of shaped like a wrap, as if a side overlapped at the end of the circle, and it's not exactly even at the top, also because several pieces were taken (robbed) away along the centuries...

More relevant is that Verona is 100km east of Bergamo , the city and province that have been hit so hard by Covid in 2020 . With 1000s of victims , they could 't manage the coffins ..
      " Make noise/sounds ,.. i can't stand this unnatural silence " .

“Make some noise here, and I don’t know if it is good for me, but make some noise because I don’t know if I can stand this unnatural silence between you and me” sung to an empty arena, with nobody to sing back.
3 years later, still gives me goosebumps.

We were in lockdown, our people was dying and we were heartbroken. Military trucks carried away our dead grand fathers and grandmothers and we couldn't even say goodby to them. Streets were empty, Italy was silent, and suffering and scared. And this guy sang Fai rumore ... Make noise! This silence is not natural ....
Such a beautiful voice, such a strong song, intrnse, in an incredible location
.. it was too much. Too much beauty and pain together.
I cried during all the performance and I cry still today in 2024 when I watch it.

I’m writing this in 2022 but watching this performance in the moment it came out when we all were quarantined for the first and especially here in Italy when things were going very bad this really made me tear up. Even the lyrics, even though he’s singing about love, somehow really fit the moment: Fai rumore=make noise (when everything in that period was silent and no one was out). And also seeing the arena all empty, ugh, this brings back so many memories 😢

I don’t know if you’ve watched the lyrics translation but this is a so powerful and beautiful song! This is a ballad and he talks about distances, silences and noises in a love story. The text was written before corovirus but this is performed during first lockdown in Italy so the song is so powerful and significant in the empty Arena di Verona. He is breaking the silence he is talking about. I love so much this song! ❤️💔
    Love from Italy 🇮🇹 ✨

The Verona Arena Verona is a roman amphitheatre in the city of Verona, italy, built in 30 AD. It is still in use today and is internationally famous for the large-scale opera performances given there, like this one of Antonio Diodato in 2020 during the lockdown. "Fai rumore" the title of this beautiful song literally means make noise...
