Remember when so many people were whining about the new classes? Well, if it wasn't for the new classes, we wouldn't be getting so many great moments.
They'll still moan because they're shit obnoxious fans. But TTT is so good with these classes :)
Its funny now but if the high jester win rate keeps up its going to start being annoying though the immunity to fire will help
I do think the jester winning all the time is getting a bit ridiculous, BUT, they're really bad at dealing with the new role too so it's a double edged comment.
Watching the jester win every round makes it less enjoyable to watch.
nah fire immunity would just be abused as a jester detector and where would the fun be in that?
Traitors should be able to buy a random weapon that does 0 damage so they can pretend to be the Jester.

Idea; Instead of having the "jester" seen only in the scoreboard, it could remain in chat (Traitors only), come up at the top of the screen each round (Traitors only) or similar to the detective, the traitors could see who the Jester is when mousing over the jester

Or the traitors not being able to damage them since jesters are just to prevent rdm.
I think the jester should still be in the game, but count as a traitor. Traitors can't kill them, but if the innocents do (the rest of the 'classes') then the traitors win, rather than the traitor. There should only be two teams, traitors and innocents, but with different 'classes' within the teams.

But almost all of the jester wins are either because of traitors, which defeats the purpose of this, because of aeo, which also defeats the purpose of it, or because the innocents did exactly what they were supposed to do with the jester just acting, which also defeats the purpose of it. If its purpose is to prevent rdm then it's not doing that. Almost none of the jester kills were due to rdm.

With their minecraft stuff? I'm pretty happy that they've moved on from that, and are showing more variety in my opinion, (GTA V, Gmod e.t.c). I can never tire of it, wheras i feel like minecraft was just drilled into the ground. Perhaps my tastes have just changed :). I love the banter they have now as well, they've matured along with their audience.
you know what TTT is like? Dark Souls
They're always been like this as has their banter if you go back and watch their original videos. I'm talking about their warcraft days not minecraft, which they did primarily for views and is not the same as their usual sense of humor.
Seeing such a simple implementation of the Jester and such a tiny buy menu makes this video feel ancient.

Just the Traitor, Detective, innocents, and jester would be perfect. As said in the video, there is only one innocent. Once the jester is identified its way too easy to figure out who the traitors are.

Bens play as a traitor at like 11:00 May have birthed a new meta. What if one traitor sacrificed themselves to make their partner appear to be the jester. It would take the rest of the guys to not pay attention right, but that isn't too much to ask for with the attention span shown in most of these videos

It's becoming clear why future mods put giant icons floating over characters showing their roles and why large models like Left Shark having the icon hiding in their head is a big thing.
An interesting play could be someone admitting to being traitor, but then saying the other traitor is the jester. You'd have people arguing over who is jester.
Watching Tom the Jester walk backwards into that traitor trap was great XD
They just established there's only one regular innocent and then Tom, who is innocent, believes that Duncan is innocent.

These are some of the best rounds in a while! The new roles add a lot of double-bluffing, now that the crew have figured out how they work.
So satisfying to see Tom line up Lewis when Lewis was the Jester.
I feel like sjin locking people in the bathroom is an underrated part of this episode.
The one round where the jester is identified at the beginning and its safe to rdm they all become cautious of who to shoot

I get that it's a fun gimmick, and sometimes it does work. But I really feel like the tension of duality gets lost with these 'phoenixes' and 'jesters' running around.
