I don't think Lewis understands how much more entertaining this is than the current jester.
But it's literally almost always that Jester wins 5 seconds into the round. Pretty much nothing happens!

That was true early on when Leis was being... Lewis. But in the second 1/2 to 2/3 of the video once they'd acclimated, it was as Sjin said: the presence of the old Jester caused really interesting games to unfold with high deductive reasoning.

Okay, now make a game mode where everyone is the jester apart from one traitor and one detective.

Horrible idea. The game would be so far in the traitors favor it wouldn't even be funny. The detective wouldn't be able to really kill anyone without risk of losing the game, meanwhile the traitor knows who the 1 person they can kill is and would be able to easily do it.
What about 1 innocent and 1 traitor?

Actually, Piratederp, it's a stupid idea but it could work entertainment-wise. Some jesters could work together to block doorways while others try to blend in as normal players and pretend to seem suspicious. Obviously the detective and traitor can't really use guns to kill each other if they're constantly trapped or blocked so they would have to buy weapons with their credits that would kill the jester but not end the game e.g. the fart bomb. Or use weapons that would go through walls/maneuver around the jesters.

This would probably be viable if it actually told the Traitors who the Jester is. As it stands it's very entertaining but quite obviously maddening to play, and it would probably get old quickly.
Funny how Lewis said not to kill the jester but he killed the jester 3 games in a roe
Just make it so traitors can kill jesters - lets the traitors kill as normal and if they kill a jester it's really obvious that they're a traitor. The use of traitor weapons in this video to take out the jester shows this in action.
Alternatively, make it so traitors do zero damage to jesters.

Do you think it's worth me making this type of Jester myself and posting it on the subreddit? I'm not familiar with how receptive the Yogs are to community contributions of the sort
If it works then they will see it eventually, people like ThatMadCat might relay the message but I do believe they check their subreddits (Sjin did for ARK)

I like the old jester because I dislike RDMing. You can argue that RDMing isn't common... no wait, you can't. Jesters won half these games.
Hadron V there was very little trolling and more people being dumb or salty and the chaos is funny as hell they made the jester meaningless over time it needs to have power or whats the point. all the added roles need some power. and it was only nuts because it wasn't notifying the terrorists as it should

The jester dies almost every round anyways it’s just that since this one shows the jester as a win it cuts off their rounds. And they’re trying to get killed for the win other than just troll with that role.

Abion47 non of the versions of the old jesters was this version where traitors couldnt see the jester or told in chat.Thus its like asking for an older phone but they made a new phone that had some simillarities to the old phone but lacking an audio jack.

I love how with new Jester they weren't even killing the Jester every round. Only about 1/3rd. And now that it's important not to, they just kill them every time.

Jac Paq Even if they somehow managed to keep it secret from Lewis until the game actually starts, the game requires at least one traitor and one innocent role. Otherwise, the round ends.

I love how Lewis always complains about people killing the Jester but he's the main one to always do it, as evidenced by this video.

The traitors shouldn't know who the jester is, the jester doesn't take dmg from falling, fire or explosions and he doesn't win if he is killed by a traitor. But he wins and ends the round if gets killed by anyone else.

I think that there's got to be a middle ground between Old Jester and Shit Jester. Traitors can kill the Jester, but any Innocents who do cause a Jester win.
there was a jester inbetween this one and the new jester, and I think it was the one people wanted because it was probably the best jester.
I think they had like four or so versions of the Jester and the second or third was similar to that and the best.

Derpy Scratch Bring Survivalist back but make it so that he just has to survive, ala he can win with Traitors or Innocents.
The survivalist would never win cause RDMs galore and everyone would claim survivalist on both sides and no one would believe it and just kill them and the jester would start claiming survivalist to get shot and ahhhhhhhh
Bethorien Well they could just do put the J over the jesters head again so the traitors know what’s what. Maybe traitor testers can also detect jesters. Then they can also use their “shoot me in the foot test” which isn’t great but it works.
Okay: make it so innocents who kills the jester die (if they bring back Phoenix he does not rez), the jester does NOT take their role. Traitors can kill Jester without impunity, save for the fireworks. Survivalist just needs to survive, and maybe even bring back Serial Killer or implement a Werewolf of sorts (maybe he can become like Super-Zylus after the time runs out?)
Just spit balling ideas here. The guys will always find an unexpected meta and ruin it all .
Adding too many roles with such a small group would end badly. The survivalist, jester, and phoenix was already too much. Also for the traitor tester ben would have to go in and modify every map manually to show the pink color and check for the jester cause they all use their own weird testers and such. The J over the head seems like a bad idea to me cause it kinda ruins the point of the jester cause the traitors can just call out who it is if someone tries to kill the jester without having to have figured it out or just calling it out at the very start of the game. That happened a lot in the past. Maybe giving the survivalist armor default but no buy menu would work for just surviving but it would still be really really rare for that role to win with how they play

I personally think the version of the Jester that had the pink J over it's head when traitors looked at him was the best version, because then traitors would always know and wouldn't forget to look in chat or anything (or in this case not even know at all). I vote bring back that version and then keep that version.
