My dad accidentaly stepped on one on his honeymoon with my mother. In some miraculous turn of event, he only stepped on the side of the fish, and it bit him instead of stinging him. So he survived. It was back in 1985 in the Maldives and my mother was pregnant with me. So I'm glad he is still alive and I have three siblings. My dad was rather worried when he saw the stonefish swim away after a sharp pain in his foot.

My dad accidentaly stepped on one on his honeymoon with my mother. In some miraculous turn of event, he only stepped on the side of the fish, and it bit him instead of stinging him. So he survived. It was back in 1985 in the Maldives and my mother was pregnant with me. So I'm glad he is still alive and I have three siblings.
My dad was rather worried when he saw the stonefish swim away after a sharp pain in his foot.
The stonefish’s sting is only fatal if it’s not treated quickly enough. However I’m still glad he didn’t get stung because it’s horrible
