    I recently started surfing and can ride down the face fine. Is a snap kind of like a powerslide on a skateboard in some sense?

    Back foot over the fins. And try some pov shots with a gopro. Those sections are easy to analyze from the beach.

      It depends on the style of surfing you are interested in. Different boards lend themselves to different styles of surfing.

      Sounds like your going too hard at the start of the turn, easy does it at the start when your at the top of the wave

    I’m 5ft... what length board should I use?

    • @noahpowers1513
      @noahpowers1513 Před 5 lety

      Cali Vlogs depends on skill level, riding style, and a ton of other things. If you're a beginner you'll want something pretty big to get the hang of takeoff and balance. For someone 5ft flat, an 8ft board should be more than enough to get the hang of it. Maybe a soft top for additional buoyancy and easy of use
