    Best Mini of them all imo (and I did own both the Genesis and CoreGrafx Minis previously). I have it hacked to play a whole bunch of games from other consoles as well, along with a little patch to get back to the menu via a simple button command and some controller extension cables. :)
    There ain't no "pettiness" to it. It was purely a smart business decision given these things were starting to become more popular at the time. And Nintendo did it right. The quality is top tier across the board, be it the physical console, the controllers, the game lineup, the menu design and options, etc.

    From what I heard the nes & snes were basically Nintendo testing NSO before they did the real NSO Nintendo Switch Online

    I'm actually grateful for bootlegs but most of the fake NES/SNES classic minis are trash except the ones actually trying to look & feel like the real deal systems Nintendo did. So not all bootlegs are trash
