After playing for many hours to get a proper taste I can tell you what this game is. An instantly overly hated (without basis) underrated, EPIC game. I haven’t even completed it but this game is so good and deserves 0 of the baseless dumb hate it’s getting. The reviews and critics speak lies.

I think this was a very informative and good video, but I can’t be the only one who still finds it odd that they keep referring to them as “the Batman Family” and not the usual “Bat-family” I don’t know maybe I’m just weird, but it feels weird to hear one thing when I’m so used to the other.

That Robin ability is pretty sick. Although it’s separate from the Arkham continuity, it’s very reminiscent of the epilogue when Bruce initiates the Knightfall protocol and you see Nightmare Batman
I feel like initially this was intended to be a sequel to arkham knight but over the course of the development process it became its own thing
@@thedarkknightdetective2559 actually, WB had 2 options for a batman game. This game, the one we are getting, and a 2nd option which was a batman beyond style game, which was a sequel to Arkham Knight.

The Batman had an interest in keeping people from dying. The kids...not so much. Particularly not travelling around a city where the Court of Owls have slid into the vacuum of Batman's absence.

This feels like Marvel's The Avengers, but done right. No bs microtransactions, (hopefully) a good story, good cosmetics, etc :D

Well they're definitely not adding something as fundamental as a counter button with brand new animations and sound design etc. in an update.

It’s a simple game , on the build up part. Beat Harley get her purple lighting, beat freeze get his ice. Beat firefly get his fire ect.

Red Hood looks way too fun to play. I just wish he stood out and still killed people in this, would’ve made him feel different from the rest of the characters. I just hope I can run the game on my PC considering the console version is locked to 30 fps.

And they did but don’t worry about it being too much for it. Elden Ring had some expensive stuff for it to work well but you can still play it greatly with much cheaper parts for which is I hope that is the case for this game.

Wish they made this as a you play along side the other team members instead of solo and needing someone co-op all the time. More games need to take the Lego switch between team live in action approach. This game has a lot of missed opportunities in it already for me. 60fps is the main miss for me.

They got Batgirl wrong. this trailer is implying that she was Oracle before she became Batgirl, but its the other way around. She was Batgirl, then got injured and became Oracle.

Honestly don't care I'm going to buy it and enjoy it way to much is bring made about frame rates this reminds me of the Guardians of the Galaxy game that one was being trashed before release because people were comparing it to the avengers game... and it ended up being an award winning game... it looks good & story is interesting as long as the gameplay loop and fun and engaging

Bro this is what the console version would look like if it wasn’t 30 FPS. PC version is basically what makes the game a non clunky game.
If it’s clunky it’s clunky. If it’s not it’s not. Frame rates don’t change how smooth gameplay is.

@@DeathLore No those were built as fast games that’s able to be played at 120fps. There’s a difference. Slowing the frame rate of those games won’t make them all of sudden clunky gameplay wise.

I just started playing this, and it’s absolutely amazing. The 30fps on Console is kinda annoying, but you adjust to it. I played Nightwing first and loved the story, gonna do the same for the other Characters 😊

My problem would be if the city is lifeless, I wanna see people going about their night , interactivity with the buildings, hope it’s not just going through a dead world from mission to mission

Only certain sections of gotham are lifeless. Certain places are more active than others like a a real city.
