Admittedly, the exterior styling is slowly starting to grow on me because I didn't like the new Accord styling when it first came out. The interior is nice though, especially the uplevel touch screens. I would definitely choose the Hybrid model if I decide to buy one. Thanks for the good review Lauren.
03:36 - these are for regeneration braking levels... not "paddle shifters".
still paddle lol
Thanks for this great review of a beautiful car, Car Coach. 😀
I want to state it. Lauren we love your videos keep doing the job that you known for absolute professionalism. Thank you for your work.
Thank you!
How’s the lumbar ?
How is the road noise?
Another informative video. I do have a question. I'm 6'2" and I was trying to judge headroom when you were in the car. How tall are you?
I agree with you that I would like to see and AWD version.
And lastly... is it me or does this remind you of the VW Arteon ( the look of one anyway)
I have had the '23 Touring for about two months. I am 6' tall, but long legged. You will be OK in the front, but may be a bit tight on headroom if you ride in the backseat.
how quiet is the interior ?
I dont get the point of an electric only option on a non-plug in hybrid. The electric is charged from the gas engine so whether your use that feature or not eventually the electric is recharged from gas consumption so..what's the point? Am I missing something?
Une très belle voiture Honda accord merci beaucoup
just bought this, curious what your thoughts are on extended warranties
Congratulations! I’m not a fan of extended warranties. Many don’t cover wear and tear. USAA has the best plan if you are a member. Save the money in a separate account and save money
@@CarCoachReports Actually I am a member, thanks!
Great Review, Lauren, I am just a bit disappointed that Honda is reluctant to throw in 360 degree/top view camera even for the top trim model (I know the new Pilot started to have it for top trim). I also dream that one day North American consumers start liking station wagon again so this Accord will come in station wagon trim to make it a perfect SUV replacement while conserving fuel.
So Lauren, how can a car with a 40 or so tire sidewall and stiffer suspension ride smoother?
Combination of suspension tweaking and tire design I suspect. I own the Touring and have spent a lot of time in the previous generation. Definitely smoother ride and less interior noise levels than the previous gen with the same 19" wheel and tire package.
I'm worried that a decent size pothole will dent the hell out of the wheels with such a skinny sidewall. They probably should have gone with a 18" wheel instead of 19" for this class of vehicle.
@@cgatito3528 You said it. This low profile tire garbage needs to stop.
@@cgatito3528 I agree. Certainly more prone to damaged wheels. More sidewall would be better. Automakers don't seem to get it. They think the look is more important to buyers.
Great 👍 video n review , so when can you go test drive or road test a 2023 Ford Super Duty truck

diesels are dirty, smelly antiques...☠️
The more I look at it the more I seem to like it. love the clean interior but wish there was some accent color to offset the black a little.
The Radiant Red Metallic in the Touring trim has a grey and black interior. Really nice contrasting look. Other colors may offer the same, but I own the one I mentioned and really like the interior colors.
1000% Beautiful first time I ever see you! Give us guys advice how to find a Lady like you. A lot of us still single I notice you help with this.
Lauren, overall, and as usual, great review. Some of my thoughts:
1. Honda could add passenger side lumbar and same seat as on driver’s side
2. The rear slope may look fine from the outside but hinders headroom for taller passengers - I would prefer a more squarish rear
3. The 19 inch wheels do give it a slightly choppy ride - 17 or 18 would have been better with 19 as an option - but Honda is never known to give too many options or packages.
Overall, and I have said it before, the Accord often cannibalizes Acura TLX sales - with a few more options and better packaging, it can move into TLX territory and let the TLX grow bigger and compete headlong with the German luxury products. But then Honda’s strategy has often been confusing - they need to think more strategic.
Thanks for adding in your comments. It’s appreciated
I liked it so much I bought one. Agree with all, absolute dream to drive but that "Bose" sound system ... sounds like another 4 letter word.
I own the top of the line. Honda need to fix their system update issue. Many people like me have trouble getting the system to update.
Not sure why the honda civic accord are just stretch in size . Same look in front side and back of both cars
LOVE the front of the car!!! I saw one on the highway yesterday....this very color...and it was VERY impressive. I thought it must have been an Audi. Classy...very nice!!!
MUCH better looking than the Camry. Toyota really needs to up their game to a more clean and crisp look. That big grille thing needs to go...
Perfect car for those who doesn’t care about cars
Accord 2023 gets 900km full tank cause hybrid + gas amzing car
when I saw 👀 her in first time I thought she not good from the outside the accord but I changed my mind 😹 coz every person do a video about her I saw him is so small she look huge and badass car maybe someday she becomes a police car 🔥🤣
Be warned: No Spare tire, not even a donut spare. Also missing is all-wheel drive, heated steering wheel and built in XM Radio. To get XM you have to dance around and do tricks with your phone. The Spare tire is a show stopper though.
There he is. 9546 is a troll. He hates honda. He copies and pastes the same response on every site. Hes one sick dude
They have a sport, but it has the same drivetrain, oh well.
And the most important topic that everybody's asking is where is the manual? Where is the 6 bit manual that Honda is long known? For where is the manual
If everybody is asking, whey didn't they buy the manual when they offered it? It had a very low take rate. Is there a manual offered in the Malibu? Sonata? Passat? Camry? There's your answer.😉
Manual is in the glove box. Comes with the car
If this were my video, I would dust first.
I am trying so hard to like this car. The styling is kind of bland to me.
That's what's keeping me from buying one. I can't drop $40k+ on a car and cringe (or shrug with indifference) when i look back at it. There is zero spice with this design. Waiting on the '24 Sonata (which looks WAY better IMO, and then the '25 Camry.
I bought the sport l hybrid it looks awesome
I bought this after I had a 2011 sonota limited. The quality control on the sonota was iffy. Aside from the well known engine bugs, I’ve had things break on the sonota I’ve never had break on any other car. Pieces of the chrome melted and deformed. The sunroof drain hose had a kink out of the factory so water leaked all over the floor. I had to replace most of the suspension to stop squeaks at 30k. The clock springs my in the steering wheel went. I did not even know what that was. Eventually it was covered under a hidden warranty. The reason I switched to Honda is to reduce the drama! There is a reason hyundai is cheaper. In its defense, it’s now 13 years old and still running, but it has been way too eventful. Never again.
Honda did the bare minimum to bring this in to the current time frame. Update safety, hybrid option, refined the ride. Unless you buy the sport -l or touring they are under equiped and boring. Even at 40k you don't get a height adjustment for the passenger so it's sit on floor seating. Some dealers are marking them up 3k.
She didn't mention the dreaded three letters, those of which we shall not speak... CVT !!!
It looks Kornie 🤓
I don’t like those two pieces on the front that are brushed aluminum looking, that has to go…lol
The seating position seems really low. You look like a kid driving with your head barely above the door sill.
I’m tall - high windows sill makes me look small - lol
Some reviewers call the Accord a “compliance car.” Which I agree with. The government mandates fleet mpg targets, which can’t be met when you sell so many Pilots, Passports and CRV’s. So the Accord has had all the excitement taken from it in order to generate really good mileage numbers. Hence no 2.0 liter engine, no manual transmission, no Sport edition. No fun. Just an appliance designed for compliance. And that’s what happens when the government decides to control all aspects of your life.
The accords not boring. Honda isn’t losing at all
Why else are the accord crv civic pilot top of the class? Because they’re well rounded. The segment benchmark. They’re the bmw 3 series of their segment
Exactly! Sales are great for most of the lineup. This offering is the direction cars are going on. Hybrid and all electric. This car actually looks classier now and more grown up.
13th thumbs up. Honda has been on a downhill slide. Without the 2.0T, the Accord is garbage.
The new Accord is pretty nice - great value!
even with it, still overpriced garbage🙄
Garbage? I'll take the new 2.0 over your 2.0T any day. It takes one second more from 0 to 60 but it gets about 170 miles more range. I'll take the range over 1 second any day!
@@jrs9264 garbage ? Lol the avg new car price is 40k that means this well below the avg new car cost. Good quality good mpg and honda reliability. Sounds like a good deal to me. If you want something faster honda will sell you a integra type s
Probably going to apoeal more to Boomers also older end Gen x'ers. Lots of money with both generations. They're not looking to race around.
The Accord has grown up.
Guilty as charged. Gen X'er and now empty nester. In that age where I'm not looking to race around, not hauling kids nor old enough to be the old guy wanting to be a Corvette to recapture my youth. Just looking for a solid point A to point B that looks good, rides well and has some nice technology features. I don't want an SUV, cross over or truck. Nor do I want to drop 60k on a luxury sedan.
Got one five weeks ago and definitely regretted. Every day finding out how terrible Honda quality control is this days. Had my 2015 civic for seven years with no issues. I contacted customer support for my 23 accord exl problem and looks like no one cares. You make decision if Honda accord is going to be your next car
Can you say you specific problem with the car ? I’m about to get one within 2 weeks
Man, they really cheaped out for this generation...guess I'll hang on to my 21 Touring for a while then I'm off to the germans
Besides ugly they Cutting corners. everywhere .not even a fog lights anymore and I'm sure they have some silly excuse for it.
There's no transmission in this accord...
This Accord is cheap and underdesigned....yet they are charging more. As a 30 year Accord owner of multiple generations, I say no to this generation
things honda improved on this accord vs the previous gen.
1. the bigger infotainment screen
that is all
For a long time now, the 6th gen exterior styling was the last Accord I considered good looking. From the 7th to the 10th generation, I felt they tried a lot of things but none of it worked for me. I did not like the exterior design of the 10th generation especially, it just looked outright ugly to me. The 11th gen seems to be turning things around. First Accord in 2 decades that I've like the exterior styling.
I love Hondas, but man they went ugly on this one. There is nothing attractive about this car. The KIA Optima looks better than this. As a matter of fact. thats what this looks like. What are they thinking, and who are they trying to sell this to? Its HIDEOUS!
sorry I do not agree with you, I had two previous Accords both were V6's and Both were more luxurious . This one is dark and austre in other words 'CHEAP ' and it is bigger with anemic Four cylinder as the Top engine . Honda must have paid you to boost this down market model up 👎🏾
How much has Honda paid u off ??? C'mon 🤣🤣🤣
I'm sorry but it's a Honda fan for years. I have to state that this is one of the ugliest car on The market as of today and second it does look like a ford Taurus from 2012.
I happen to think this is a great looking car. In fact, I bought one. And no, it does not even resemble a Taurus.
I also think it's a good looking car.Doesn't remind me of the Transformer movies like a majority of the cars on the market do.I ordered mine 2 weeks ago.EX-L version.
No more flavor shame Honda shame on you.
