The fact that anyone can train a boxer to stand still in one place for longer than 2 seconds is mind blowing. Have had boxers for over 16 years and still adding to the time frame. My absolute best friend in the world was Jack and he made it to 12 years. Grown man tearing up over a dog and yet I wish he was here everyday.
They are the heartbreak breed for a reason,had my boy from 2014 to 2020, he passed after getting afflicted with auto immune disease, really saddened the entire family, really miss him

This is the best breed of dog on the planet. The all around breed is what the boxers are. I had two of them and my male lived to get 11 years old and my female made it to 13. I took excellent care of them and they did the same for me. No better breed of dog has ever been produced.
Had a total of 5, all past away now, think about them every single day, they changed my life and gave me so much joy it’s impossible to explain, I just hope one day I’ll be reunited with them!! They really are a mans best friend!!🥊❤️😅🥇🐾
The judge is so great in judging boxers breed shows. The dog that won , won another westminster show of the year show that year. I truely love boxers our baby girl is 8 years old now and we couldnt own a better dog. Boxers are my favorite.🐕🐩🐶🐩🐕🐶

my thoughts EXACTLY! the ear and TAIL clipping aka mutilation should be a criminal offence an I was thinking the same about the leash it's awful to watch them being controlled like that, however we've domesticated Animals and certain dogs do need leashes as harsh it looks to us an god knows how it feels to them but it's a necessity IN cases to be able to keep the dog an train an use leash right in order to have the dog a part of the family rather than give it UP coz you can't cope an the poor dog is put or out or to a shelter where there is 0 funding an at best caged for life or worse.. BOXERS are the BEST ALL ANIMALS ARE!

I'd rather LOVE to see this event being US 'HUMAN'S' applauding these babies playing in acres upon acres of rolling hills of green no neck ties just chasing flies jumping at whispers an missing them ohh that would be fabulous I love my babies Penny is the 1at granbaby My GORGEOUS daughter an her bf had an then came her adopted brother tucker who's a rambunctious so an so who is at times a nark an god bless my penny such a sweetheart who loves the nark as much as she does her mummy n daddy an me her Nanny but we've domesticated these blessings an I'm not mad at the trainers and this 'show ' but just wish we had enough leave on earth to be able t0 really enjoy an live al9mg side all these babies playing freely just imagine that🤞💕
Although these are beautiful boxers, I'd like to see more variety. I have a black and white boxer, and I've seen pure black and pure white. All of the ones in this show almost look identical with a few brindle mixed in.
Kre8or333 There’s no such thing as a black boxer they’re just dark brindle I had a reversed brindle but she passed of Kidney dysplasia but I totally agree with you !! They should add them into shows more so majestic looking ❤️
I am from Germany and we had three Boxers. Black and White are not accepted colors. Our first Boxer seemed to be black, but was sealed Brindel. White Boxers are often deaf.
I don't understand - why do the best in breed show dogs have their ears docked and short tails? Boxers are born with natural, lovely, floppy ears and usually long tails. Who makes these rules up??
golfmaniac007: I disagree. They look marvelous with their ears and tails docked. Floppy ears are more prone to ear infection...like MITES...and they get cruddy inside. It doesn't "traumatize" the dog any more than circumcision traumatizes a baby boy.
Why do people get circumcised? Not necessary...just traditional. I like the look of the cropped ears and tail. I can't imagine the damage that a long-tailed boxer could do...(they WAG their tails a lot). Plus...floppy ears are prone to ear mites and don't get good air circulation. It's a matter of preference.
what are the trainers taking out of their mouths and giving to the dogs? I mean, I don't put my dog's treats in my mouth.. yuck if that is what it is.. :)
Valerie Griner they cropped WORKING dogs ears and docked tails so those body parts didn’t get damaged while working. But they don’t need it do it if there pets or show dogs.
How could anyone clip the ears of these wonderful beautiful dogs? Thank goodness it is illegal to clip ears or dock tails here in Australia. I am so sad.😢😢

They don't really need baths either as long as their on Advantage, Their natural oils on their short fur doesn't need soaping, unless they play in mud then they just need hosing off. They are characters, I took care of 2 and they caught a vulture, each had a wing and pranced around the yard like they got a prize. Another one I had was surrounded by 5 rottweilers and didn't back down, I almost had a heart attack at 30 something. The owner came out, and then she was taking a chicken to feed the baby alligator in their pond if the 1st thing wasn't enough!

I have not cropped the ears of any boxer that has joined my family. The end of tail cropping needs to start with the breeders and I hope it does.
