Some people struggles a lot to speak English, but degrades Hindi which is born inside our own country. Some proudly promotes English (which is spoken by the ones who consider us as their slaves), but cannot support languages inside the country. Firstly remember common language is essential for a country for its unity. Every state must give first preference to mother tongue and secondly a common language (Sanskrit/Hindi/any mostly spoken language) should be taught in India, its a must for future.
English should be given just as a choice, just like in Japan, Korea, China.
This inferior mindset should be changed.

@@user-gj8iv8ri6j I am shocked that you included Sanskrit in this list. We Indians are still united and we don't need a unified language to show it. India is known for "Unity in Diversity" by outsiders for which we should be really proud of. As far as I know, many opposing Hindi imposition just because we fear it may replace our Thamizh. I may be wrong, but many of my other state friends knows to write and read Hindi but not their mother tongues. But atleast they speak within their families today and I am not sure whether they would carry forward their mother tongue to the next generations. And I don't want the same situation in my part of India too. Mother tongue couldn't be protected until it is not in academics for students. And for English, I don't see it as any kind of threat to my Thamizh as we all aware it is still a foreign language. If they have every right to implement as an optional language forcefully, they can also make it compulsory.[ In simple words, I have a railway station nearby home. Before few years, I could see only a few workers from other states. But recently, I could see only a few Thamizh people in it and I don't know this is same in every other states. It even made a virtual image to many people here like, if you want to get a job in Railways, you should know Hindi] It may even go worse as you don't need to waste time in learning Thamizh in your school, instead you can learn Hindi through which you can get many benefits. I strongly believe "If a language of a region is waning, it's culture also goes with it"
