Beautiful girl! I have a 6 month old daughter and it’s so sweet to see you going through what I just went through. These times are hard, but so sweet. Enjoy it. And yes, you do you. What’s best for your family and your baby girl. Don’t pay attention to everything else. It’s hard and you don’t need the guilt trip every time you open up social media. You’re the very best momma your baby needs. You’re doing an amazing job!! 💜

Awwwww- she's so precious! We supplemented with formula, too. You have to do what works for you and Rosemary. Those first weeks can be exhausting, so take care of yourself. You are doing great! ❤
I honestly think so many more people supplement and switch to formula than I ever realized. It’s not really talked about as much!

I agree! I also know someone who had to supplement because her breast milk was basically "skim" milk-- not enough fat. Nobody should be making mothers feel guilty-- sometimes breastfeeding just can't be the only way.

This was so precious! Currently pregnant with my first and I already made the super conscious decision that if nursing becomes too stressful and not working for me to switch to formula no questions asked. The expectation and judgment of other moms who try and force breastfeeding on other women is so gross. At the end of the day, your mental and emotional state is most important. You can’t take care of your little one of you are not being taken care of!
I did the same! I will say even though I said that, I for some reason dealt with a lot of guilt. No idea why. Now I’m totally okay with how everything turned out! Maybe blame the hormones and lack of sleep! Now I can see clearly that mama’s well being and mental health is so important for baby! Switching was the best decision I ever made. If your emotions get the best of you like they did for me, know you’re not alone and don’t hesitate to reach out and chat ! ❤️❤️ how far along are you??
I felt guilty not breast feeding my son. There is a lot of judgement and I often got asked “why” when people learned I didn’t breast feed. My answer is just, “I don’t want to.” 🤷🏾♀️ Do what works for you. Bottle feeding was so much easier for us and my son is now a happy and healthy 6 year old. Fed is best!! 💕 All the best to you and your growing family.

Halo swaddle! We loved it! Now she needs arms up but swaddled so we are using the love to dream and I recommend that one too. Congrats on your baby girl!

Where did you get the sully wrap from? My baby is two weeks old and I am breastfeeding and pumping. My nips are so sore and I dread feeding baby sometimes. Any tips?
I linked the wrap in my description. I heard the soreness and everything with breastfeeding gets better! I don’t know from experience , our situation was much different. We had a terrible latch and needed to supplement with formula and everything. We are fully formula feeding and are very happy but every family is different. I will say there are Facebook support groups I joined when I was struggling ! For breastfeeding mamas and pumping mamas! I also had friends that went to lactation consultants but we couldn’t get one in our area.

My baby is one week old and I only get 3-4 hrs of sleep a day. Sleep deprivation is the hardest thing so far

I was 31 when I was pregnant! I too have thought it would have been nice to be younger but things always happen as they are meant to I think. :) I am sure the time flew with your baby girl!!

It is a blur. I honestly don't remember, maybe from the beginning because her jaundice levels were too high.
