@@the-anhpham3364 well technically the option to join guilds and some resource mining techniques are unlocked, it's just that the established meta is to immediately start trying to gather some resources before trial ends. If you got a good spawn you can use the college sidequest to extend your trial by a few years.

I heard that one of the devs actually made an account and played for a bit around the 0 AD update on the Ancient Rome server, but some of the other players ended up torturing and killing him. He used his developer abilities to keep playing for another 40 days, but then he just quit the game and never rejoined.

So apparently the devs decided to partner up with Plague Inc. I can’t say I’m a fan of their decision. The China and Italy servers basically shut down and the America server is on its way down too. Pretty annoyed.

@@fabuloushatlady7812 It's that one dev that made so many last minute random feature changes that they ended up as the main contributor on some people's cached stats, despite breaking a lot of the core content, like Ocean, Disease, and Mortality. Not to mention creating his own test account on the live servers just to troll everybody before they caught on and attempted to ban them by immobilising them on some tree carcasses. Then the fanfiction for them was written by people claiming to be there to be popular and made it a bit of a meme.
Tim Robb, Yeah... some people took the fan fiction to far and uses it as a cheat to make other players game harder.
When your score tallies up though, if you didn't reach the goal to unlock the next level, you have to play that level again. It's pretty annoying, especially on some of the higher levels. Like on level 3, there's all of these tasks to do and it seems endless and every one you complete just seems to make things worse than they were. But, if you just focus on the self feat tree, you can get through it easy.

They basically keep the data on the harddrive( if you are older) and on ssd( if you are younger) and on the ram there are this keys to validate those stats

Unfortunately the ‘Sun’ server is going to eventually take too much space on their storage so they’ll have to kill it. And as it’s the main database for ‘Earth’ we’ll get disconnected.

Deus yeah no. Don’t blame every bat main! Basically in a host made by the bats and the Asian servers went on a prop hunt game. But one fucking salty ass kid died so many times that he decided to make an exploit using the carry diseases debuff on animals and then used a glitch to infect human players. The exploiter got perma banned by the bot, but the kid used some script from god knows where and broke the bot, but I dunno is just things I heard on the forums

StarChild, I know! I think your right, I mean, no one else was able to do it, so it would only make sense for him to be a dev, it is a really complex path too. And we all know that if he were a dev, he could probably just tp there and get it over with. He was rich too, usually a sign of a dev if they are rich randomly, unless we have a solid answer to why they are rich.
The Spoon, maybe he knew but wanted to make it sound like a player did, also maybe he wanted to get a higher fame level on his alt, and that was the perfect way!
i feel like columbus was just a player that found a bug within the game's walls and managed to bypass the pacific ocean region to get into the new world question line. i also like to think that the players that were "residing" in the new world quest line were either alpha testers or beta testers because the area was unfinished at the time.
You know, except for the people that already found it and had functioning societies that had less poverty and unrenewable resource drain debuffs. until Columbus came.

So many beta players were trolls dude. Most beta players had low stats due to not having access to the updates, some of them still live like in beta . All of these beta players are really good at trolling , they are really brutal too and that helps with the trolling aspect . Homeward Rook ay! I did play in the early alpha game but for like maybe 10 minutes or maybe longer, but I liked hunting with the homies and giving some offering to the devs. But I mostly played in the colonial, era! Loved greifing the beta players
But I think that "th3_j4sus_man" was an exploiter using duping to help other players, he also had access to the source code of the game which explains how he leaked unannounced quest lines and could negate status effects, got banned for some time but he made an alt shortly after but got IP banned.

It's pretty amazing how when you find these skeleton rigs, you could actually interact with them and pick it up. I wonder what the dev's were planning?

Mostly just how history is taught in school makes it boring and tedious to learn.
You're taught "[X] happened in [Y] at [Z]", just teaching arbitrary events with next to no correlation between them (like how I was taught about the Victorian and how they treated and paid children, then straight into world war 1,) which ignores that a lot of history is seeing how events influence people and then cause later events

I don’t know why the devs did this but all the “school” sections of the game take, at minimum, like 12 years depending on your server.
yeah, a lot of it is just grinding and leveling up your knowledge skill, really just felt like filler to make the game longer.
Sucks also cause it's not free content

Also, the high chance of dying in the US servers doesn't really help
It's a well worth grind though, since you gain so much xp and knowledge points. You also get access to high ranking factions, like doctor, engineer and scientist factions
Turns out, they weren't working on Outside 2! They were working on the Science Update. Unfortunately, it had a few major bugs and now we are stuck with a global pandemic. Oh well, hopefully, they patch it soon. Then we can get back to scientific advancements and finish part 15 of the Science Quest.

The players got toxic too and started going into two guilds, the far left and right guilds
Honestly just lazy work done by the devs. Silent for so long and release a new expansion the adds almost nothing and just inhibits player actions. Made me personally really bored with the direction they went this patch. I’m just looking forward with what they do next patch

that would be the best teacher - people really need to learn to teach and learn in ways the one learning needs and best understands.
While I was leveling up Pedagogy, I found out a player teaching civic education, politics, survival skills, ecosystems, cycle of water by a zombie apocalypse scenario. He will be remembered by all the players that played that tutorial-mini game.
I really wish teachers would do stuff like this to make classes more engaging
I'm most excited for the Mars map, we have currently only seen leaked drone footage but soon we may be able to see it with human eyes and I think this will be a great step towards the outer space expansion dlc which people have been really hype about since the 60s update when we first successfully glitched out of the main map and onto the moon.
Honestly, it's so weird that even the earliest players were trying to pull off the wacky shit we want to do know. Some things never change, I guess

Technically the server is still free for all/ anarchy, but the higher level player started a self-policing gig that's been going on for a while
If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. They had the same options in character creation, just not all the minigames that were added well after the 1.9.00 update.
They would've been bored as hell so they made up their own minigames.

I just started that level, I’m currently on: Get past the Awkwardness! This level is supposedly extremely hard to get through, but once your through this stage, it’s smooth sailings. Make sure to regularly decrease the anger stat in order to keep the stage going. Stats like +happiness and +lust will be added on the longer you play this stage, so it’s my recommendation that you play this stage as long as possible. The devs increased the failure percentage of this stage to around %80-%90 percent, so the chances of actually dragging out the mission to the possible “marriage” stage. Are pretty slim. I think that using in game currency to get things for the missions npc will raise their happiness level and keep them on a stable +10 on the positivity bar. The “argue” action can delay, decrease, or possibly even end the success of the mission, so using this action should be put back to more dire situations. I think that’s it for the stage. Hardest part is most definitely finding an npc that has that quest option. Dev bug. Unlikely that they’ll fix it tho 😕

Pretty bad debuff it can make your play through a lot less enjoyable
Yeah bro, I stumbled across that too, but I also came across another debuff called anxiety, which makes it everything worse combined with the depression debuff.
Suicide WithToiletpaper careful, having both anxiety and depression debuffs at the same time can cause a glitch in the game. People call it dissociation.
Really weird that one, feels like the game crashes for a bit
i’ve personally found the professional therapy add-on helps a lot, especially when you stumble across those two debuffs when your stats are already low. it’s a little expensive at times and can be hard to install, but it really boosts your xp to help you fight it, i’d say it’s worth it.
just.. make sure you’re not getting the add-on from a bootleg source, sometimes it glitches and trolls can take advantage of that.. not fun, i’ve experienced it firsthand :/
It's a vicious debuff. Lowers almost all stats.
You guys know about any potion or blessing that shrugs off those debuffs? Beyond the therapy add-on, of course. Sometimes I don't even want to keep playing the game like this, it's just too frustrating.

Nice job!! A thing to remember is that you can go even quicker, you'll then earn the achievement "Stillborn". I've only managed to do it once but it was really cool honestly

@@peace3682 the length of the loading time is sadly necessary. My game glitched and I was able to shave of a month of the loading time. However my game was super buggy at the beginning and I had to get some players with high levels in healing to fix my glitches.

The weirdest part of the game is theres no way to tell if an in game character is truly an avatar or just an advanced ai npc, like the ai seen by avatars who experience the "schizophrenia" bug.

It’s a bug/virus created by a Chinese hacker. It’s spread to other servers unfortunately. The devs are working on a bug fix but they need the help of the scientist and medical classes

No this storyline appears to be a bug because we already had a couple of “pandemic” storylines
I've been playing this game for a while and I gotta say, very interesting plot and good graphics.
There's some bugs that should be fixed like getting a mostly permanent mysterious status effect that incrementally decreases your maximum health until it hits 0 when using certain items like cigarettes and alcohol. Players have tried to make mods to fix this bug for the devs but players seem to get it at semi-random and it might have something to do with what perks your parents picked when they started playing which made it a hard bug to track since there's a lot of perks to chose from, so far no one has been able to fix it yet.
Also little Quality of Life DLCs like improved farming and livestock for the people playing on a harder difficulty (mostly in the African servers but also in increasingly more places as more people join the servers.) People are saying it's "to hard" and that there's not enough food and water related items for them to survive and they don't want this game to become another Battle Royal gamemode like with both World War limited time modes (although hugely popular with the modders adding in more and more interesting weapons each update for the mode.) Me and most of the community think the devs should add stuff that helps everyone but hey, I can't complain.
At the end of the day most people play this game for the unpredictable experience, good or bad.

The difficulty levels really depend on who you're spawned as. Your avatar could be born to players who have farmed a huge amount of in game currency and your difficulty would be quite low compared to others with less in game currency considering currency farming is just such a huge chunk of the game

You can skip the quest all together by taking a different path in "Career Choice Quest". You get a ton of different choices the biggest one being "Blue Collar or White Collar carrer" and if blue Collar is selected like i did you save money and skip the college quest which while it is the meta is very inefficient

@@Rifky809 the new CoVid-19 update is the worst, people start leaving the game, changing server are getting harder because they are down, almost all your daily quest got distracted because the medical guild keep on checking your temperature to see if you got the corona debuff.
I’ve heard that some scientist-class players are trying to ask the devs about negative and anti-energy. Hope they’ll add it!

Down to the marianas i go using the wooden pallet wack yo' head noclip glitch. Usually you ran out of spamina before doing it but with spamina hac- glitched i can do it.

I’ve heard of this one hack called humor, but each player is set with a different preference though we may not know it. And if you use the wrong strand of humor with the wrong player, you can actually loose relationship points, instead of gaining.
Humor isn’t a hack but it is hard to get normally.

Don't know about cheat codes but I find consumable items like alcohol and narcotics seem to help if you can deal with the dex penalty.
Honestly this new “Quarantine” Global Quest is really boring. The devs gave us regular players such menial tasks like the “Convenience Store: Quick Snack” subquest while the players who maxed out their Medicine stats are out doing all the work. I hope the next update gives us better missions.

It was probably a glitch causing many players to be kicked from the server. I think the devs are working on the patch that will be added in the next update.
Its amazing how the whole game is on hardcore mode where you die once and thats it...
However as a compromise they nerfed the prices of certain items, so there is that

It’s super odd though because no one actually knows if you can respawn after you die, there been talk about being allowed to create a new account but you can’t choose where you start and you get a randomly generated name. Personally I think you just get permabanned.
My favorite easter egg in the game is the large bone models hidden out of bounds. I think it’s a cool homage to the dinosaur meta during the Mesozoic update
