Black swan is like unrecognized gold. There is such beauty in this song that words cannot describe. BTS portrayed fear, darkness and sadness with such beauty. The instrumental, the choreography, the lyrics, everything was so painfully beautiful like i swear to God. And I just love the vibe I has, like the beautiful pain vibe, like you're broken and falling down and down into a realm of darkness, trying to escape but you're somehow liking it and want it to go on and on forever

I've heard grammy's are quite xenophobic (and honestly their actions do show the same) so why dynamite got nominated was because it was a song in *ENGLISH* and was written/produced by *AMERICAN* producers and writers. Why else would they neglect all the other touching songs with really thought-provoking lyrics and underlying messages. Dynamite was a nice cheery song, it got stuck in my head, but without a doubt, Black Swan seems a bit more deserving.
I'm not even a hardcore, will kill you if u come at us (Don't get me wrong they did help me a lot thru things) ARMY, but I think even a normal local will clearly see the difference. ykw, ARMY's know that BTS deserved better and we don't need these unimportant award shows to judge and measure their musical capabilities. They are far better. (sorry if it seemed like I'm ranting or angry, I promise I'm not :)

i can totally understand but i still think ON is more fitting as the title, because this song is too dark, and that is not exactly what they want to share with the world as a whole, you know what i mean? like this song holds all the pain and fear, which is why it is so powerful and emotional. ON on the other hand, is a song which embraces every aspects of their journey, from the glory to the ugly.
the 7 years mark is also a cursed time stamp for many idol groups, because many of them disband before or at 7 years, which is why i think them telling the world they are going strong is more of a statement.
ON is very much raw and BLACK SWAN is all metaphorical. they complement each other so well, one being shown to the world and one acts as a shadow.
that is how i would explain their choice, it's all subjectively deducted of course. but i mean most of their songs could be a title track lol

The ochesteral feel to the music implies the emotion with the over all melody and runs on top with the violins and the stroll chelos in the background. Usually you find emotional pieces with this dramatic feel to the melodic line making it soooo so much better!!

I disagree, I think this one probably was made after the original specifically for the dance video. It was just the first released version.

@@yt.akirachan no no no, in this sense, by original they mean the first one because people are saying that this version is better than the original version, aka the first version, aka the STUDIO version. They don't mean original as in how unique it is, that doesn't make sense at all. You see in the comment section that people keep saying that this is better than the original version, not to say that this isn't original because it is. Original in your sense is being used as a word to describe the content of the song, but in the actual context that both this comment and my comment is talking about, original means first. So your comment is still unrelated to anything I said.

This is THE version. The lyrics talks about such deep things and I think this version perfectly expresses the feeling of the song, sadness, despair, agony and even a kind of calm after the storm. This version is pure art, hauntingly beautiful and it definitely hits differently.
