Heartless mother to treat her daughter the way she did
This mother have some nerves to blame her daughter for everything that she hasn't done back when she was a baby, I mean it never really occurred to her mother that the real reason why her husband left in the first place is not because of the lost of her beauty but her negative attitude towards him. I still don't understand why she wanted to steal her daughter's identity and trying to ruin her life but what I do know that if she continued to treat other people very badly like she did right now then she will end up being alone anyway.

She didn't want her daughter to have the happiness she threw away. To her physical beauty is everything, so she wanted to prove that without physical beauty then you can't find happiness. That's why she stole her identity. She wanted to prove her point, her choice, her belief wasn't wrong.
But it was always wrong. Deep down she knew that but didn't want to accept it until her son-in-law told her straight to her face that her daughter was acting like a mother should. Which is to say: nothing like she did.
