I think the problem with this woman is that she spiteful towards Ellie and Brian because she's bitterly jealous that their happily married while she isn't since her fiance called off their wedding and then left her so she decided to ruin their marriage to make herself feel better. It never really occured to her that perhap the real reason why her fiance left her in the first place because of her personailty and attitude towards other people.
I do agree with Ellie and Brian point of veiw as this woman should have move on with her own life finding someone else who could make her happy instead of wasting her time being spiteful, bitter and trying to hurt them unfortunely that woman is too stubborn as refuse to acknowledge all her wrong doing and never going to change her ways since she only care about herself.

Even if her fiance did not walk out, she can still have habits to cheat. Outcome can be that even if she did not deal with her fiance walking out, she could already make plans to cheat on her husband afterwards because she did not learn to discipline herself to be faithful. There are plenty of women in her position who dealt with their fiance walking out on them however, they dealt with it by finding another man who is available. Any married man would not let her use her fiance walking out as an excuse to steal someone's else fiance.
