She did just that in the end. She disengaged their marriage right from then and there.
Emily should have left her selfish husband Roger in the first place because there's no point of staying marriage to someone who never really love or care for you as he only using you for his selfish need. Watching at the end of the story I'm betting that not only Emily got Roger to sign to donate his kidney but she also manage to get him to sign a divorce paper without him realising all this very clever.
