  • Even if you missed the last big eclipse, don't despair. There are solar eclipses happening across the globe at least once a year. While not all of them will happen over populated areas, some of them may be happening close to you.

      Diogo David no their wrong. In 2024 a total eclipse will have the same path as the blue one straight down the middle of the us. Therefore the lines are switched

      Rage _ Alright.. So let me get this straight. You are saying that Europe is shit because of terrorism. But you see, terrorists arent born in Europe, nor do they come/go from Europe, instead they usually get to this continent from other parts of the world, mainly the middle-east. I dont understand how a continent where acts of terrorism occur often can make it "shit". You should support a continent that needs support, instead of spitting on it. When 9/11 happened, the whole world was on the side of the US, and we should continue fighting against the killing of innocent people rather than hating on each other.
      PS. I dont know what terrorism and solar eclipses have in common.

    • @abxlynn
      @abxlynn Před 6 lety +8

      "one job" meaning weeks of editing, cut them some slack. overall the video was pretty cool. it's not like we're going to use this video as an accurate source of solar eclipse information. we'll know about every solar eclipse accurately as they become closer.

    • @elementalibra9463
      @elementalibra9463 Před 6 lety +3

      Indeed they have worked for a while on it, and I do realize that, but at the same time, if they've had weeks to work on it, you'd think they spend even a little time double checking their work. They failed to double check it before spreading misinformation to people by the hundreds of thousands.
      The least they can do is correct it, and republish or release something to correct their rather careless errors. It's equivalent to turning in your final project for class without double checking for mistakes, and just winging what you got.

      Harry Vuong yeah but I think harry is saying yes that the ice should've been included. The majority of it will still be there for a while, the ice should've receded during the video to make it more accurate. I feel that since we could send a craft to the ice and watch the eclipse then it was worth including it in the "land mass"

    This is a great video, except the eclipse types are backwards. The blue lines should represent a total eclipse and the red lines should represent an annular eclipse. While I didn't check every single one, I did notice some of the ones that I know for a fact are backwards.

    I dunno who put this together, but there's plenty of stuff wrong with it. Ex: the one near the beginning basically bisecting Chile and Argentina is shown here as occurring on Jun 2, 2019, and annular, *both* wrong. It happens on July 2, 2019 (a month after that shown here), and will be total (*not* annular). Btw, it also be right before sunset in Argentina, so it should make for some stellar horizon photos if weather holds. Looking forward to it.

      Zaycor 1 -- 99.8% of the population will not travel even a few hours to see a total eclipse, for example, so if one goes overhead, to many, it will be a once in a lifetime thing.
      Plus not everyone can get the proper eye wear to full see and enjoy the spectacle. We live in a wonderful time in history when something as simple as an eclipse draws such huge crowds and attention.
      I drove 3 hours to be in totality. Made an awesome weekend resort getaway out of it. I enjoyed it to the fullest with wifey by my side. 😜
