Hi Roy, yeah Donald Sutherland is an incredible actor with terrific screen presence. Wow, didn’t know Indicator had a sale going, I will have to pop over and take a look, nice one Roy, take care mate👍😃👍
Hello Alan I'm afraid the sale has been and gone. It's only usually on for a few days twice a year. Next time will be in the autumn I think. Next time I will tip you off 👍
Great stuff, Roy. You have some really good ones here. I’d like to get Cottage to Let. I’ve talked before about director Anthony Asquith’s A Cottage on Dartmoor, which I think is a masterpiece of the silent film era. Sutherland is good in Eye of the Needle, a fairly gripping thriller. I was really wanting to do the Indicator sale but I had got two large sale orders from them last October so am having to wait until another sale. Great pickups, I talked about 10 Rillington Place recently in my Albert Pierrepoint video, and I love See No Evil despite its implausible moments. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend And Soon the Darkness from the same writers. Another with a great atmosphere of murderous dread
Hello Neil, I watched Cottage to Let this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a twisty wartime thriller that kept you guessing as to which of the cast were German agents and which were not. George Cole although only 16 here was well on course to playing cheeky chappy, loveable rogues with this one. He certainly wasn't put in a shadow by the likes of Alistair Sim and John Mills even at that tender age. Thanks Neil I've added And soon the darkness to my list.
Great stack of films Roy, Eye of the needle is very good, think it will be your cup of tea. See no evil is great mate, well worth watching.
Hello Mark, thanks am looking forward to both. Got so much to get through
