Tip from a homeware/furniture store employee: When you've washed the towels, be sure to stretch/pull real hard on any accent weaves (edges, decorative weave stripes, etc) when they're just out of the washer and still moist. These will shrink at a different rate from the terry cloth and need stretching to re-gain their shape. Once shrunk, it's very difficult to get your towels back into their original shape. đž

I totally agree with you, especially if you have a dryer.... I do that for other stuff as well Eg. When you wash Clothes at 40 degrees plus, the poly seams tend to shrink. My mom used to give everything a shake hen she took stuff out of the machine, and that works really well with creases. Once the steam is gone from the clothing you can only remove them with high heat đ

i dont think its a ice cube mold i think its a cake pop mold and the hole is for the stick to go in.
So you fill the bottom part, then close it, and add water to the top part through the holes?

You can use the tiny plate for a spoon rest! If you are ever making saucy pasta or anything else that you use a big spoon for you can place it without getting your counter all messy! That's what I would use it for. Excellent video as always Freddy! đ
Omg so random but I found these 2 little ashtrays made out of crystal, in shape of a shell. They were adorable but sat in the box for like 2 months, and then I realised that they could be lovely for spoon rest, especially since I drink my coffee from really large mugs without saucers (I drink latte). And it actually looks really preetyđ„°
Freddy, put the Serafina statue in your walk-in wardrobe or bedroom. You can put your everyday necklaces on it! It would not only look lovely, but also have a use!

OMG Freddy bought something from Aliexpress. đ± It is basically like a chinese Amazon, it has thousands of sellers and all ranges of quality for the products. They are cheap not because the quality is bad, but because the mass production is very cheap, the employees don't get paid a lot (because their living wage is low, not necessarily because they are being badly treated) and the rest of the services are very low cost (branding, shipping, etc.) I've been buying stuff from them for years and I usually get amazing deals. You just have to read the feedback of the product and the shop.
In my case, I am OBSESSED with iridiscent kitchen supplies. I found some randomly at Walmart but ever since I decided that's what I want, I wasn't able to find them anywhere, except for Aliexpress and I am thrilled. đâš
You fill the ice tray up normally, pop the lid on, and then add more water that will trickle in through the holes on the top :)
Hi Freddy, I saw some replies about the ice tray, but I've always seen it used differently:
You overfill the uncovered ice tray, then slowly push the cap in, and the excess water should flow out the little holes on top to create a perfect diamond shape.
I don't know which is the better method, since I've never used one of those ice trays before, but this might be a slightly more effective method.

It's OK to buy some cute stuff as long as you don't go overboard. My advice, after living by myself for 6 years would be to buy sets of 6 (i try to do even 8 when I can in case I break one) and find a design that you really enjoy, something simple that would go in different settings, try to get matching things and be really realistic with what you buy. Kitchen cupboards become a hell when they are overfilled and it is heartbreaking to throw them... I personally just threw(gave out to friends lol) a set of 4 amazing sausage dogs mugs that I loved but I just never reached for because they were a bit smaller than what I like...and it was really hard to do, because they were so cute but I reached for them twice in 2 months so it was just using the space that I don't have....
No, now is a perfect time to start your collection for when you do! When I first moved out of home I asked my parents for house related stuff for Christmas the year before and they bought me pots and pains and cutlery, cooking utensils and Tupperware etc! It meant I saved a lot of money plus it was lovely to have useful gifts too

Oh I had a similar ice cube tray. You'll have to fill up the bottom ice tray with water until the indicator(there's a subtle indicator to where the water level should stop) , else you can just fill it up till it's 3/4 full and press down the top lid so the excess water will flow out from the holes.

Be careful with the cutlery, there were some comments above that advised against buying those as they haven't gone through quality control and may have toxic chemicals.
The small mug with saucer is called Demitasse. It is for serving espresso.
That's not a demitasse, it's waaaay too big! Espresso is 50-60 grams of coffee and demitasse is up to 90 milliliters :)

The strainer spoon is actually an egg poacher! You hold it just in a boiling pot and it keeps the egg from spreading out, and then you can fish them out easily
Yeah ngl AliExpress are pretty dodgy despite what youâve said; I would be cautious with the cutlery, think someone else commented similar but I imagine the colouring will come off them especially if youâre using a dishwasher.

Definitely wouldn't shop there for anything I need to be durable, such as electronics. They're great for small things like cell phones cases though.

Freddy, be careful that your metal utensils donât scratch your pans. I am not sure if the pans have nonstick coating, if so, metal utensils scrap them.
Yes good point! I donât have any gold utensils yet that you would use in a pan, Iâve seen some cream silicone utensils on wayfair that will be perfect!
Aluminium really bad for health. Many people have Asthma because of this . Please choose materials wisely. It annoys me to see it off at 80% off. If poison was free / 80% off would you take it or buy it?.

I enjoyed seeing what you bought for your home. Kitchen stuff is essential even if you are not a big cook. When I got married, I had a bridal shower just for kitchen items. My favorite item is your pink teacup with the floral designs inside. Have you tried Laura Ashley for some of your household items? Thatâs what the teacup reminded me of.

Instead of getting sets of four plates, you should do 8. It will make it a lot easier to have people over, and be more convenient for you with the dishwasher as well.

For the diamond ice cube tray, you fill the bottom tray to the top and close it, water expands as it freezers, it should rise up to the top tray and give you the shape.
I don't think it expands that much, though. I saw holes in the top part, perhaps you finish filling it after snapping the two parts together? I really don't know.

You may find that if you start cooking, having larger appliances that make more than two servings is more useful. Having leftovers and not having to cook every day makes it easier to eat healthy and less work overall. I especially loved the cutlery in this video! I have loved watching all these home reno videos! Some of my favourite videos of yours!
