Those ramekins that your received are oven-proof. Great for creme brûlée and individual mac'n'cheese casseroles. Love what you have chosen. Those velvet jungle themed cushions are so luscious! IMHO, you can never have too many bowls. I, too, am undecided about the gold hooks. Maybe in he bathroom rather than the bedroom??

When i moved out i also said “i don’t cook so i’ll be eating a lot of pasta”, which is true, i eat a lot of pasta, but now i also can spend an entire day cooking easily. Hummus and bread are the best things to learn.
Been married five years now and can confidently tell you: and extra blanket under the sheets is a lifesaver. He gets to have fewer sheets, letting him be more comfortable, plus you can pull it around your shoulders to stop the gusts when he rolls over!

i love the crown hangers, but to answer your question if it fits with the theme, i gotta say it does seem kind of little-girlish compared to the amazing sophisticated home you’ve been creating 😊 but still beautiful nonetheless and i know you’ll make anything look great!

The little white containers your grandma gave you are called ramequins, you can make desserts or bake things into them in the oven :) It's interesting to me that you say you don't know how to cook, maybe that could be an interesting challenge for you to take on! My best recommendation is to buy a cookbook that has simple recipes and to commit to trying one out each week. I am sure you will get great over time ! It can be really fun to cook as a couple too for you and JJ.
Hi Freddy! I love the theme you have going on in the kitchen! Just a word of caution with metal utensils: please be careful with them in nonstick pans. It can scratch the layer and make it come loose which is not good for you when it ends up in your food. Silicone or wood are safe in nonstick pans and wood can also fit in nicely to your aesthetic :)
Why don’t you also try the antique stores. The ones here, around in Minnesota, U.S.A. have wonderful old crockery and cutlery, which are classy, timeless and manufactured to high quality.

A parlor palm or a non-blooming bird of paradise would look great in those pots. I absolutely love the look of both, but my bird of paradise really looks amazing.
My granny also gave me those little dip bowls and i think they are actually called soufflé dishes... but i use them for everything and its so special having something in my kitchen thats older than me that i get to pass on to my kids and grandkids one day.
This haul/lounge theme just screams, olympus, tropical, vintage, elegant, grand, jungle, vacation!!! Put a huge antique shisha to finish off the vintage royal look, and ur kitchen looks like from the 50s so that will all fall in line together 😍

Ramekins are great for making little savoury/sweet dishes in the oven! When I was staying with my host family in France we used them heaps for things like tomato sauce with parmesan, zucchini with parmesan, or escargot with garlic butter!
I say keep the hooks they can be placed as a pair or separated. They can be used in the bedroom, in the bathroom (for robes), or near an entry way (for keys, an umbrella, or handbag).
I LOVE how you are so optimistic about learning to cook! Best tip: splurge on glass or metal canisters/containers/organization for food and kitchenwares with labels! I think I mentioned this in your flat tour video, Caraway Home has a cookware set in the exact cream of all your crockery. It’s pricey, but doesn’t have toxic chemicals or substances. Also, try traditional Russian fluted glasses, I think they’ll compliment all your bowls and serve ware. ❤️ Love from LA! The Joy of Cooking is an old school pretty solid cookbook. I forgot where I found the recipe but I make creme brulee in ramkins, pretty traditional, easy, and tastes heavenly. I think the recipe was in a creme brulee dedicated small book. Hmm. Eggs, Cream, sugar, vanilla and caramel sugar on top with a kitchen torch. I think Williams Sonoma is a great kitchen place.
What about two mature (bigger) prayer plants (I am not sure what they are called maybe pathos plants) and they do so good inside and they trail down some when they are bigger and they have two tones -mine are green with darker spots-if your looking for bigger with more height,a travellors palm is great or seafoam ferns

Personally I think they look a little like deco for a little girls room which could cheapen the look of your gorgeous bedroom. But if you want to keep them I am sure you will make them work anyways ;)
I think the crown hangers could really fit the bedroom! The classy French style lends itself to accessories like that, in my opinion. Also, if you are still unsure you can decorate and then decide closer to the end if they fit the more fully realized theme.
The bowls your granny gave you, make a yogurt with fresh mixed berries and top with a few tablespoons on top of your favorite granola for a quick breakfast....
You should try antique/thrift shopping, it's basically like homesense in that you never know what's in store but you can often find original pieces from the time periods. Especially kitchenware, I have bought the most beautiful set of real crystal champagne flutes for 6€ :) Also those glass containers can even go in the freezer or you can bake in them, very convenient if you are already planning on cooking for a few days, no extra dishes :)
hey Freddy! just a tip on your cookingware, if you have stainless steel pots and pans you may want to opt for cooking utensils with a rubber or plastic bit instead of all metal because the metal scrapes the pans!

Hint Freddy you store and serve the butter in the dish ‘lid’ so upside down when it’s on the table you remove the glass ‘box’ and the butter is served on the tray 🧈 x the word butter on the top is so cool

Loooove what you bought Freddy and I can't wait to see it all together when it's finished :) In my opinion I wouldn't put the crowns in your bedroom. Personally I think they look a little like deco for a little girls room which could cheapen the look of your gorgeous bedroom. But if you want to keep them I am sure you will make them work anyways ;)
I think the crown hangers could really fit the bedroom! The classy French style lends itself to accessories like that, in my opinion.
Also, if you are still unsure you can decorate and then decide closer to the end if they fit the more fully realized theme.
The palm trees would look good with the jungle theme 🥰

You should try antique/thrift shopping, it's basically like homesense in that you never know what's in store but you can often find original pieces from the time periods. Especially kitchenware, I have bought the most beautiful set of real crystal champagne flutes for 6€ :)
Also those glass containers can even go in the freezer or you can bake in them, very convenient if you are already planning on cooking for a few days, no extra dishes :)
hey Freddy! just a tip on your cookingware, if you have stainless steel pots and pans you may want to opt for cooking utensils with a rubber or plastic bit instead of all metal because the metal scrapes the pans!
