When your steel core head (whatever it's called) and chest were destroyed shouldn't the whole stack of equipment be destroyed? I don't think it mattered for your game, but if that's correct, we've been playing it wrong at the store so if you could point out a rule I could show the judge I would appreciate it. Really cool video though regardless!
trying to learn the game and get a feel for it. although a lot of things happened during the game, I think actions not being reflected on board development really throws me off.
these are two pretty new heroes with a lot of weird interactions for a new player. Basically, if you watched until the end, the reason the guy at 2 life won is because the other guy could not possibly block and deal damage to win for the rest of the game. It is not a board state game like magic the gathering, so that usually won't help you figure out who is winning. One way to win in this game is called fatigue which basically means that you block well enough that the opponent runs out of cards before they can deal enough damage to kill you, so you win. Tecklovossen is a fatigue based hero. Maxx is an aggro hero.
