There's his cover of Amazing Grace, which has been out for five weeks now and his new song on Ricardo Confessori's channel, dropped yesterday, called Where Eagles Fly - an original song written by Dan. Also, all the other songs on his channel. Dan is great! You really must do more reactions to his music!

I’m sorry (long time fan/listener of Violet and NEVER heard of Dan before this Seal cover), but while Violet did great in this and I was expecting a “who is this guy” moment, I seriously feel Dan had such a powerful and incredible in this performance - actually this collaboration is WAY BETTER than the original Seal performance that I really like and the reason that I listened when it came to my feed - that Dan’s put that special goose bump worthy icing on what took this from BETTER to WAY BETTER than the original. I since went to Dan’s channel and listened to amazing after amazing performances and subscribed to Dan’s channel. Was disappointed in your lack of objectivity in this reaction and even at the end you barely gave Dan the compliments he has earned as an artist

Dan & Victor have a top 10 metal songs in 6 minutes compilation that shows a hell of a lot of range. Hell even his old stuff sounds good. His opera/musical stuff is good too.
Just start at My Mother Told Me and work your way through all 200+ songs on his channel. I first heard The Sound of Silence (2020 version) by him on 9/15/20 -- my very first Dan song ever, and it blew me away. Then, I listened to Toss A Coin To Your Witcher, and I was completely hooked. I've listened to every single song on his channel, plus his work with Orion's Reign, OD, Edu Falaschi, and whatever else I find. Yes, he's just that good! Love this reaction! He orchestrated violet's perfrmance. He does all the orchestration of the music. They collaborated it well. First metal version I've enjoyed. Dan has multiple times the fans of either Violet or you, primarily because he is s master of every genre. His attention to detail is phenomenal.

No matter what down performs Yes so many different elements that he uses and techniques every 1 he is intentional for using he knows what he is doing he is perfect control per Perfect tone perfect pitch And the rest that you hear is intentional And the grit I just love all of his music that he is covered Tell me this is 1 of my favorite I think the voice is just Go great together Yes he is very good looking He does have nice eyes But I love his passion And his personality And I love love his hair I love that freaking shiny his hair is I don't find that greasy I find that shiny silky My opinion has 1 of the best voices I've ever heard

5:11 that rasp is intentional. Check out Dan’s Journey and Queen covers and he does it completely clear. It’s ridiculous how well he copies literally everyone’s style.
Also, for something completely different, check out his covers Nessun Dorma or Gethsemane. That’s the thing: part of what is “Dan” is the variety! So I can’t pick just one.
The video that is ALL OVER THE PLACE for Dan right now is his cover of Amazing Grace, with over 8.5 MILLION views (!) . I showed it to some friends at my church, and their jaws hit the floor.

The strangest cover I've heard from Violet is her newest one rigutbnow, her version of Moonage Daydream by David Bowie... She definitely has some Marilyn Manson vibes in it.
If you like really unique singers, check out Ira Green (she's Italian and her first name sounds like Eera). She does mostly metal stuff, but she's covered Queen, Eye of the Tiger, etc. Very powerful and great tone.

Some of Dan's best covers are Nessun Dorma, Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, Song of the White Wolf, Bring me to Life and I'll Make a Man Out of You. Pretty much every one of his covers is amazing but these are some of the best off the top of my head. If you want an amazing visual performance as well as amazing music watch Gethsemane

One of my all time favourites with Dan is Gethsemane. Apart from the original with Ian Gillian, his version is hands down the best version of it that I've heard. It's really worth a reaction and for more people to hear it.

I discovered Dan a few months ago with Amazing Grace- never a metal listener, but Dan has converted me! Are you mistaking his beautiful metal growl for a chest rasp? I’m also hooked on his nuances of voice and the screams!
OMG! Who is that woman? I have never heard her before. What a beautiful sultry silky voice. I only got through the first part before Dan kicked in and I am writing this. It happens only rarely when I get tingles down my spine and then I know its special. I will now listen to the rest and I am sure Dan is fine too!
Violet Orlandi, she does tend to have that effect on people.
I feel like Dan has a more agressive tone, which was great for the first chorus, while Violet sings a bit more clearly, which made the second chorus feel really smooth.

Dude!! Glad to see you've decided to check him out! I still stand by what I said on that Leo Moracchioli vid. His cover of Toss a Coin to your Witcher is PHENOMENAL! I'll make a man out of you is good as well. He really belts out some powerful vocals in the last half and gets up into his higher tones. Oh! And I almost forgot! His cover of My Mother Told Me is one of the best I've seen. I can't say either of those are his BEST or not, but they are some of my favorites lol. Anyways, How you been brother? I really like this!!! I remember when I was in South Korea at Camp Eagle, we'd jam seal in the barracks often. I lime this version/cover for sure. Violet has a lot of good songs!!!!

I could not decide which of Dans song covers I like best. You should definititely listen to Bohemian Rhapsody, Sound of Silence (2020), Bring me to life and one of his Nightwish covers though. That's just a small portion of his songs which never ever fail to amaze me. Toss a coin to your witcher sure is great - it made him shoot through the roof. The Adele Covers, Numb and the Phantom of the Opera songs are worth mentioning as well. But really the list could go on.
Dan had a few moments in this but 1 thing is for certain, he carried Violets mic in and out of the building for her.

Dan's most popular song is "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher". But my favorite songs are his Evanescence covers, he did one in Japanese that I can't remember the name of, there's the song "Beyond Belief" a Petra song featuring John Schlitt and John Lawry who are members of Petra. He's also done a few Sabaton covers with Minniva (who I HIGHLY recommend that you check out she has done a LOT of Sabaton and Nightwish covers and she's got a beautiful operatic Alto voice!!). He's also done "Far over Misty Mountains Cold" with Skar Productions. There's his cover of "I'll Make a Man of You" which really shows his range very well. He's even done a "Dream On" cover too. Not my absolute favourite, but he really nails every single note in the song really well too.
He's also got his own band too. I'm not sure if they're still producing songs or not. But the band itself is called Orion's Reign. They are a Power Metal band but what little music I have heard from them recently and are incredibly good as far as music goes. So, I also recommend giving them a listen whenever you get the chance.
I've listed to nearly all of Dan's videos and I have yet to find one that didn't absolutely floor me...and I'm 70 years old. His voice is amazing and the more videos he puts out, the better his editing skills get. He does that multi-box method in his "I See Fire" video and it was perfection. In each of the boxes his voice is a little different, but they all blend well together. As far as the reaction, maybe you should have stuck with drumming because, dear lord, you are not a comedian. You come across as just plain mean and then try to cover it up with kind of lame explanations. I've seen other reactions to Dan's work and the person was able to be honest without any unnecessary dietirus. I'm glad you liked it, though, and hope you will like his other works.

I really like Dan. I am not gonna say i can call his best work, but i would be really happy if you react to an old(2019) cover collab he did with Minniva on a Sabaton song (Night Witches). Its a short but epic cover you might like since you love Sabaton and looking for more Dan

Just went to look at some Brad Pitt photos to refresh my memory, and though there is some resemblance, Brad's jaw is much more square than Dan's. I actually DO know someone with a MUCH better resemblance to Dan, though--which is so exact that it's almost scary. I can't even post a photo of him, because it's my nearly-19-year-old (his birthday is just three weeks away) grandson (my 38-year-old youngest daughter's oldest son)! Seriously! He actually looks like Dan's younger pictures, AND his "now" pictures, which is crazy...but not, because (being 19) he's right at the juxtaposition of both of Dan's "eras." He has more of the build Dan had in his younger years, but he has the full beard and hair that the age-33 Dan has now. His expressions are much the same, his voice is extremely similar, and he's very musical (the whole family is, and there are TONS of us). His mom and I keep looking at him, these days, and trying to figure out what common nationalities are in existence here, and if we have any relatives in Brazil! Seriously!
I can't see by searching your channel that you've done any more reactions to Dan's catalog over the last year. While listening to this reaction, I've been trying to think of others that you might appreciate as much as this one and more, perhaps.
I had never heard of him until he released "Amazing Grace" a couple of months back, now. Since then, I've listened to all but maybe a dozen or so of the 243 videos on his YT channel. I have never been much of a metal fan, mostly because of the way I hear, which is extremely well--too much so at times. I also hear harmonics, and sometimes metal songs will do excruciatingly painful things in my brain. There are some I like. I've raised six kids who mostly have all loved metal--just about any type you can think of by name...most of which I could have done without. However, I can tell you, now, that I LOVE everything that Dan sings (actually not all of the songs themselves--but everything he SINGS--there's a difference, which I'm sure you understand). His voice has the necessary POWER to do what it needs to do for the songs he sings, and it does not screech around in my head and cause it to want to fall off of my neck. Instead, I want to pull his voice in more strongly, and just hold onto it. I know that sounds extremely weird, but it's true.
Until rheumatoid arthritis got hold of me and twisted me all over the place for over 15 years (I've had both hips replaced now, and can actually stand again, and walk on my own, most of the time), I had been singing in bands, choirs, and doing solo work for most of my life--and I seriously remember back to age two. I don't remember ever NOT singing, and all I ever wanted TO do, was sing. I had a range just over 5 octaves, but lost most of it starting in about 2007. I could still sing bass (and still can), and my grandkids all think it's wonderful that their grandma sings bass. Since getting the hips replaced in 2017, I've been working hard on getting back up into my former coloratura range (at age 73-1/2 right now). I also bought a new trumpet to help (it's one of the several instruments I play). That has helped immensely. I had still been stuck on getting past the two register changes I needed to be able to defeat, BUT...as I heard Dan sing Amazing Grace (which has always been one of my own favorites, and I know the power of it in my own life), I suddenly knew how to breathe correctly again, in order to breach those register marks!
I have been singing along with him for the past couple of months, now (not just on the one song), and I'm carefully watching his stances and his approach to all of the changes he can run through so easily. I had been so crippled for so long, that my muscle memory really needed some jogging, and watching him has provided that. I am once again at least beginning to be able to SOAR, and the freedom is wonderful.
So...while thinking about the songs you might like the most, to react to, I really WOULD like to see/hear you react to his "Amazing Grace." Other than that, I'd suggest both of his "Phantom of the Opera" offerings, and his Christmas songs (WAY different than you've probably ever heard any of them). My two favorites of all of his songs, though, are "Son of Pain," and "Nessun Dorma." I also particularly like, "For All," "I'll Make a Man Out of You," "Dawn of Victory," and, "The Last Stand."
I'd say I'm "sorry" to write such a book, but I'm not. I write like you speak. 😀
