What setting did you use to cut? Did you do anything different to the wave art to make the lines thicker so it's easier to pull the vinyl away like that? I'm having such a hard time with mine! HELP!
@@beatrizburkholder9056 I figured mine out! I took the sound waves into a photoshop like program, Photopea, its online and free. Make the art have an outline and you make it as thick as you want. SO much easier to weed. It came out amazing
i would like to try this project with just a portion of a voice mail I have on my phone. is there a way to select part of the audio and do this same project?

Hi! My canvas here is about 16 inches wide so that is the length of my soundwave. I also used glitter HTV. The wavelength thickness is about 3 inches high.
What app do you use to read the sound wave? I've made some but cnt figure how to see if they work. I use my phone's camera and a QR reader and it doesn't work help????
I don't understand why my machine will not cut a soundwave cleanly. I've tried several times on vinyl and on print then cut and the lines of the wave are so thin that it just shreds them. How does this not happen to you?
How long will the audio file play once it’s converted and using the qr generator to play it? Because some pages for example spotify will only play it for a while then it asks for premium membership

I did enlarge it quite a bit as you can see from the size of my canvas. You can also make edits to the thickness in Inkscape if you open the file in that program. :)

There’s an app you can download on your iPhone called voice record and it records audio only. Thus skipping the video to audio conversion

Can this be done on the glass of a picture frame? I'm trying to do a Spotify code or sound wave in gold foil on glass
Yes, you can put the soundwave on the glass and then put the code on the back of the frame :)

Make sure you are using vinyl or iron on vinyl not print then cut - the material is too delicate. :)

You can add video from other sources CZcams is just the easiest option and you can make it private.

That may happen if there is a lot of white noise in the background. Make sure your environment is quiet and you speak loudly and clearly. :)
