    Good for you brother. I’ve got a 239fs and love it but it’s almost time to step up again.

      If I step up from this it’s either gonna have twins and a tuna door, or a salon!

      I’m looking at the same boat. Coming from a Lund 16.5’ boat so it’ll be a huge upgrade. How does it handle in chop? Do you feel comfortable going offshore in it? What kind of speeds do you get with 1-2 passengers on a good day?

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 4 lety

      With two people and a loaded cooler I top out at 44 with 4-6 people I top out around 41 normal cruising speed is 28-32mph at 4200rpm with a fuel burn of 7.5gph cruising around 35-38 jumps to 9-10gph which I feel is pretty great!

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 4 lety

      And yes I feel absolutely comfortable going off shore, however you have to realize your gonna have to pick your days as it’s still a 22ft boat, 15-20 miles out on nice days is absolutely doable!

    Want a center console for the stability and glad I found this boat. Good for a four person family that is just cruising and sandbar work?

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 3 lety +1

      Definitely, you certainly won’t be disappointed!!!!!! Due to my work schedule and now opening our detail shop we don’t fish much, but we spend a lot of family time on the weekends cruising and hanging out at local sandbars, this boat is a great all around choice! I’m going to try and get an update video up soon

    Played buy me a boat when I picked mine up lol have u heard from anyone with a 250 what the 219 top speed is I’m happy with the 200 especially with the power tech 16 22 prop but hey we’re dudes right lol.

  • @hatchingiscatchingbx22br58

    Just picked up my Seahunt BX22BR with the 250XSB Yamaha on it. What kinda top end speed with the 200 ?

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 3 lety

      Typically I’m getting 40-44 mph too speed depending on the water and load on the boat

  • @maz227
    @maz227 Před 4 lety +1

    Did you special order the cooler slide or is that now standard on the 219’s. I’ve seen many with the bar across the cooler (hutch step)

    Just wondering have you experienced any vibration with the 200 motor? does the hard top have any vibration you notice ? Thanks in advance

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 4 lety +2

      Haven’t had a single issue! The 200 runs like a top and I’m over 50hrs already, I’ve also had the boat in some pretty good chop and the top is as solid as it could be.....which is why I chose the KW over anything else

  • @whalerlife53
    @whalerlife53 Před 4 lety +1

    Id skip the winless and ad a trolling motor

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 3 lety

      We do a lot of anchoring during the summer, so the windlas is much more useful to me, it would be nice for fishing the pilings or holding over wrecks but I had to choose one

    Great video! I love this boat. The wife and I just sold our boat and we are looking for a K.W. like yours. In your opinion, would a half ton Ram 4X4 pull it well?

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 4 lety

      Most likely, but you should find out the tongue weight of the boat loaded and full of fuel and compare it to your toe rating to be sure

    • @wallywanker7435
      @wallywanker7435 Před 2 lety

      I had a ram rebel with the hemi and a tow package and I could pull a 25 Grady white with twin 150s full of fuel like it wasn’t even there.

    • @whalerlife53
      @whalerlife53 Před 2 lety

      Pulling is really the wrong question. Can the tow vehicle stop with the weight it’s pulling or hauling is the question to ask and have answered. Just because the vehicle will pull it does not mean if you say OH CRAP, I gotta stop will happen. It takes weight to move and or stop weight.

  • @kennykannar8971
    @kennykannar8971 Před 4 lety +1

    Can you get a video of it running?? And how does it handle in 2-3 foot chop?

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 4 lety +2

      im going to do a more in depth review soon, just dropped it off for a few accessories, and hoping to do some fishing out it within the next week or two. I can tell you this, it handles a 3' chop with ease! i couldnt be more happy with the boat!

    • @kennykannar8971
      @kennykannar8971 Před 4 lety

      What is your top speed with the 200? How is the performance of the 200 when coming on plain? Thank you, looking at a 219 myself and debating between the 200 and 250. Curious as to what you think?

    Nice boat! Was looking at Nauticstar and Tidewater.. Now this is a contender!
    Can I ask what was the base price with standard features, assuming 115 HP?
    I cannot understand why manufacturers and dealers do NOT list base prices with standard features.

    • @lhfdetailing2628
      @lhfdetailing2628  Před 2 lety

      There are way too many variables for pricing, I found a lot of the tidewaters come very basic to compete price whose then add your extras. My boat came with all the upgrades except the windlass and now the radar. My best advice would be to contact Gootees and speak with nick directly, tell them what your looking for. They are honestly the best and most honest to deal with

      Most people don’t report the price for some reason. That set up with. 200hp Yamaha is in the ballpark of 58-65k
