I journalled everyday for 3 weeks... How to journal & What I learnt

  • I JOURNALLED EVERYDAY FOR 3 WEEKS
    A few weeks ago I was at a personal trainers conference and there were some guest speakers talking about the “athletes mindset”.
    Now I’m not saying this mindset will apply to everyone - the people that spoke were quite literally world class athletes HOWEVER their standards that got them to where they are were amazing.
    I’ve adapted what they spoke about and made it my own - what works for me - so I thought I would share this with you too!!!
    My process:
    On my first day of journalling I got really clear on my goals. What was it that I wanted to achieve. I wrote down the 3 things that I wanted to achieve.
    Each day after that first day, I would write down specifically what my goals were and what I would do that day to achieve them.
    Without this journaling process I don’t think I would have made this much progress towards my goals.
    What I learned
    1. Radical responsibility! Your choices are yours, AND you can use those choices to get you CLOSER to your goal or further away from your goal.
    2. Every day is an opportunity. There is SOOO much we can do with an intentional 24 hours. When you constantly show up and put energy and effort towards something. You’re likely to get the compound effect of your consistency
    I also touch on how I built this habit!
    Journalling is amazing and I would 110% recommend you try it too!
