i love when producers sample a tiny piece of a song and turn it into an epic track, like Gang Starr's Mass Appeal. That's real artistry.
Mass Appeal is amazing. I’ve tried breaking that track down and I can’t get it sounding right, even though I know the samples.
Great Job... The Royce da 59 isn't so simple as It seems to be!! That's why Preemo is a beast. Bravo Furio 💪😎💯🔥🔥
Glad you like it. Thanks.
That shook ones II, slowed/pitched down sample blew my mind when I first heard the sample source. One of the greatest classic beats and a personal favorite
Amazing track. I did a breakdown of it on my previous video.
I was raised on this music, the Wu, Mobb Deep, Lox, etc.. even gangstarr and dj premier production always been crazy but I love seeing the music broken down like this to it’a roots!
I will be dropping a DJ Premier special pretty soon with 3 of his famous productions broken down.
love this serie!
God you like it. I’ve got lots more tracks in mind I can do breakdowns of
Thank you, Furio!
Thanks for watching.
Dope.!! Mobb Deep is my favourite track. Then it's got to be Royce da 5'9 track . Then the Reakwon track. Wicked video. 🔥✌
Appreciate it. Thanks
I've been a fan of your channel for a while now i love how you break the samples down and show off the songs/samples you've found over the years!

Glad you like it. They are fun to put together. Sometimes hard to do in one take as I’ve not edited any of them so far.

@@DJFurio 👍🏻
man! u muz have spend a lot of time doing research on all your stuff .. respect ..
I did spend quite a while on the research and then preparing all the samples. And then practising to be able to do it all in 1 take.
Nice video. Again👍
Glad you like it. Thanks.
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching
Pucker mate
Thanks
The Infamous was great, thanks for the recommendation
Glad you like it. I still listen to it in the car pretty often.
@@DJFurio can you recommend me some more oldschool classics I haven't heard of? Something sounding like Nas' albums would be great
Here’s some of my fav 90’s albums.
A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory
The Pharcyde - Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde
Wu-Tang - Enter The 36 Chambers
Notorious BIG - Ready To Die
Large Professor - The LP
MF DOOM - Operation Doomsday
KRS One - Return Of The Boom Bap
Jeru - The Sun Rises In The East
Gang Starr - Hard To Earn
Group Home - Livin’ Proof
Q-Tip - Amplified
Many more too
Ah man you are in for a treat. DJ Premier produced the entire album. It is just amazing. I saw Jeru live back in 1997. Craziest night ever. Windows got shot out at the club in Manchester. Tony Blair became prime minister and a tv host Frank Skinner randomly turned up at the after party with a TV crew to talk to loads of people about the new Labour government. Crazy night.
If you do another one of these, I want to see how When I B on Tha Mic by Rakim was made
That’s actually crazy because I nearly did that. I had the sample chopped up ready and then decided to do Boom instead. Maybe on the next one then.
Muito bom amigo
Thanks
The left handed genius 😎🙏
Not sure what you mean
@@DJFurio i thought you were left handed
Ah ok. I just often use the MPC pads with my left hand as they are on the left. I’ve never really thought about it much.
Funny on survival of f... Immediate recognition as pitch started to drop down
Yeah it’s mad how your brain just knows right away as you hear it slowing down
Great choices. Is there a way you can do Apollo kids by ghostface?.
The sample isn’t particularly messed around with. It’s from Cool Breeze by Solomon Burke
Anyone know where the drums originated? Maybe just a few different drum hits chopped out of various breaks
Tutorials?
Not sure what you mean
Here some help from where the drum beat comes from, czcams.com/video/SpktGrn1T0w/video.html
Zero help on the drums as they only show the main piano sample.
These have been out there for years. Lets try some harder ones
I do music that I like listening to. And I’ve never seen anyone break these down before in this much detail. No clue what you mean when you say try harder ones.
