Any church with a leader that tells people how to vote should lose their tax exemption.

I believe this church has lost or given up its tax exemption because it was so easy to prove that the pastor was preaching politics from the pulpit.

If a church leader tells its members how to vote then that church needs to be taxed.
They're not allowed to endorse a candidate, so they shouldn't be able to endorse a party either, but I'm not sure if they can.
Also, I guess technically he didn't tell anyone to vote Republican, or even tell them not to vote Democrat. He just told them to get out of church if they do. Churches can still discriminate based on race, so certainly they can based on party

The entire "leave if you don't like it"-mantra really doesn't square with everyday life. Let's say their wife says to them "The house is a mess. We need to clean up." or "The fence needs a new coat of paint." or "I need to get my break lights fixed." do they also reply with "If you don't like it here, leave!"
