  • Despite being road underdogs last night, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors had no issues dismissing Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. Curry had a game-high 37 points on 9-of-14 shooting from deep in the 18-point win. Durant finished with 19 points while James Harden had a Nets' team-high of 24. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to the Warriors' big win and share their biggest takeaways from last night's game.

  • @TeamDaemon1980
    @TeamDaemon1980 Před 2 lety +40

    Skip isn't grasping this underrated aspect of Steph's game: the gravity he pulls in. KD can shoot but Steph's range is even greater. So much easier for teammates to be open.

      @@darnellwilliams8783 okay and yet Steph pulls more attention than KD ever will. If you have KD or Steph open for a 3, you guard Steph. If you have KD open for a 2 and Steph for a 3 you’re gonna guard Steph, teams would rather let KD open than to allow Steph to shoot. It literally happened in the playoffs, this dude is right. @angeldominguez2414 Před 2 lety +1

      @@brandonhampton477 I can’t ever remember a time he did that or when he got double teamed before he even entered half court. I also temper a game they played together where KD was legit just driving to the basket for a wide open dunk, two Cavs players went to guard Steph and just allowed KD to have a wide open dunk, perhaps the easiest bucket of his career. It’s just different with Steph, I’d rather have Curry on my team than KD. KD is more complete defensively but offensively I’d say they’re both even with Curry taking the slight edge due to his shooting and gravity.

    • @isaacbelluomini1925
      @isaacbelluomini1925 Před 2 lety

      @@angeldominguez2414 I’d take curry over KD offensively because while KD is amazing on ball, Stephs off ball game is on another level. His constant movement gives the Warriors easy cuts and his humility helps the Warriors get open shots for other players because he has no problem setting screens or being a decoy. As good as those KD Warriors teams were, KD would sometimes ruin the flow of the offense because he would decide to iso or stand in the corner. Steph is one guy you plug into nearly any offense and he will fit because of how elite his off ball movement is.
