I don’t get the Casper-hate. He might not be spectacular, but he has stamina and act like a true professional. He belongs in the top-10. He’s one of the top earners this season, and his hard court play has improved. I appreciate players who’s not a 100 percent talent but a 100 percent hard worker.
Luckily experts and the other players respect Ruud more than nobodys without tennis knowledge.
That’s why he’s already won more Sportsmanship awards than Jokeovic ever will, and he might be the world’s best clay player this year.

for me a top 10 player should at least be decent on other courts but ruud literally gets beaten by everyone on the tour on grass and hard courts

As you said, on clay. And that's common in players boring to watch, basing their game on high spin and moonballs. I love his personality, but Ruud is not exciting to watch because he does not excel at anything... and I guess fans want to have fun.

Looks like Ruud or Tsitsipas will win their first ATP 500 title
He had a few months of bad losses and dipped a bit and everyone just wrote him off. I think it’s bound to happen to most players. Even Alcaraz and Djokovic have had bad losses. Sometimes it takes a bit to bounce back.
Tsitsipas is currently losing to Diaz Acosta, so I really hope and would like to see the nice, likeable Ruud win the Barcelona title! Is Barcelona also an ATP 1000 Masters tournament?
