If you read biographies on Hendrix and what his family and friends had to say Jimi's secret was what we all know. Practice practice practice practice,.............. Jimi used to sleep with his guitar, he'd take it into the shitter with him he quite simply never put his axe down. It was always in his hands. No deal with the devil none of that bullshit just dedication and solid practice.

Felix Burke You can make a deal with the devil and still practice. Maybe that was part of the deal. Maybe he just wasn't as good a negotiator as Robert Johnson. Your logic eats itself.

Hahaha. Go ahead and believe that Devil sell-out, Hyped-up B.S. story to sell books, records, ect., to keep the fires burning. These people are gifted, by God, given a natural talent, and work very hard to sustain it! According to the Mu-SIck Industry, Elvis, Morrison, are still alive. That's why the Doors made Millions to this day--annually, because of their brainwashed Hype! **Question: How do You get to Carnegie Hall? PRACTICE!!!

$350 in '68 would probably be around $2 or 3,000 in today's money, possibly more. i remember telling my dad and my uncle back in 1991 that a les paul model standard 58-60 could be picked up for around £10,000 and would be a great investment. they didn't believe me. they never do though. how much are they worth now? i still wouldn't pay £3000 for a new guitar though.or $5000 for one that's been tobacco stained and angle grinded. what's all that about?

So that must be Waddy’s parole officer creepily staring him down as he gave his responses to the interviewers questions? NOTHING disturbing about that dude at all.

Jimmy Fischbeck I saw Steven Stills in Madison Square Garden in the 1970’s. He had about 15 guitars on stage. He said if bought guitars he didn’t have to pay taxes on that money. I didn’t know from vintage guitars at that time, but today those guitars re worth a fortune.

This is all business. Guitarists wits some names fuelling the prices even more. No guitar however well made witch classic electronics, good pickups and good wood and precisely made..but all this together is not beyond 1k dollars and we know how Gibsons are expensive. You can buy some unknown company guitar there are so many guitars with good wood and necks, youliterally just change electronics, pups and you got sound same as Gibsons.. it can be even better for playing if the neck is thinner and you can get all this for no more than 500 dollars, but people want their egos to be fuelled with trademarks.its all nothing but bs, all that matters is that you like to play the guitar and that you like the sound, thats all there is, sound and feel, ok it have to also look nice ..
