- On the last video where I camped in the roundabout, I barely got out in time before the workers arrived to do the landscaping maintenance on the roundabout. Also a general behind the scenes update on the plans for the short term future!
That is the largest, most professional group of stealth campers I’ve ever seen.

In my Camping with Steve headcanon, that “maintenance crew” was actually the RCMP’s anti-stealth camping task force going undercover to investigate a tip about a possible stealth camper in the area.

This guys cool! The people that really need to get negative comments are those fake "I'm being stalked from randonautica" people... lol. I also like that so far none of his videos have ever been clickbait, like "COPS CALLED STEALTH CAMPING GONE WRONG!" Its usually just a normal title for a fun video lol.
I think this channel is for people who are more interested in Steve, than the guy who camps out in weird places, and drinks beer. We're kinda your poparazzi!

That was incredibly audacious doing the round about, but you certainly picked a good one! LOL! Great disguise you wore too! Had they caught you you could have told them you were from the planning department closing out the permit to build with a full report, but not if you were sacked out in a sleeping bag

Hi-vis camouflage camping seems like a series you can go to from time to time.
Your disguise was awesome, Steve, with traffic cones being the only distinguishable difference. Even if they showed up when you stumbled out of there in the morning, I bet they would’ve just thought you were a new guy. That’s why you’re internationally known as a MacDaddy of stealth camping and hunkering down!
I would wanna see Steve trying to just casualy walk out of the bush with that bright red orange trash bag of gear and just calmly walk away from the roundabout while the workers are working around :D.

Stealth camping with Garbage (the cat) and since steve always picks up the garbage at the sites we can be rest assured garbage the cat will be going back home with steve.

When considering a camp site, consider that a well maintained site usually means it gets a lot of attention. Maybe less tidy locations are a bit less intensly maintained.
But that'd be less stealth. And after all...

Hey Steve, I love the Rav4! My wife just got one. You should look into building a "foamie" camper trailer for it. It's a type of home built lightweight camper made out of foam insulation boad with a fiberglass like shell. I think it'd make great content for the step 2 channel!

To be honest, nothing more suspicious to me than a clean high vis. Should've stomped it in the dirt for a minute, then you'd blend right in.

Word of advise costume wise: At least here in the UK yellow hi-vis is the default that you'll see regular road workers in, orange hi-vis is pretty much exclusive to rail workers.
that's very interesting I believe that is the same here in the USA now that I think about it. Or at least the orange is much more rare among any "regular" workers.
Yellow is the standard for the general worker but can also be different depending if they are supervisors or work a specific department
Yes we'll he is in Canada not the UK orange is very common for maintenance workers on the continent.

You were perfect, the construction spotter the day before. Stays the night to make sure it needs maintenance
Ideas: Use the step 2 channel for Timelapse videos while working on the house as extra content. Requires minimal narration but still good content

Cool update - crazy that if you slept in a bit longer, you would have been surrounded and caught by about 6 road workers! Campers who don’t know Steve will be surprised at the size of the campground !
The Beautiful Wife might want to try the Relief Band motion sickness device. I can get motion sickness on a race track fairly easily and I tested the Relief Band trying to make myself sick at a couple of go-kart tracks and it works very well. Also, try to keep your foot steady on the gas pedal. Some people are constantly on and off the throttle, which is a great way to give your passengers motion sickness.
Cruise control is definitely the way to go. A car that rides like buckboard, not a cream puff, and then taking corners very smoothly and with low lateral g force helps, too.
