This song is true today more than any time we need to recognize people. God is great and there is no greater love on this earth. Thank you for posting this song.
I just started Pastoring and this Easter will be my first one as pastor. I have the choir sing This song and many of them think its a new song. I told them we song this 25 yrs ago in church. This song still minister.
Such a powerful message in this song 🎶 it’s been resonating in my soul for decades but through the grace of Jesus Christ as an adult I truly understand the importance, significance and power of God’s love for his children.
We used to sing this song when I was a small child singing in the adult choir lol. One of my favorites! Brings back so many memories. Now that I'm minister of music, I want to reintroduce it to our ministry.
I have two copies of this album. The first was secured in 1986, the year this came out. I prefer this version over the GMWA recording. This was was done prior to that one too.
At Browns Chapel Ame Zion Church in 1986, on the choir a young lady name Corinca Douglas sung this sung with so much passion and we were still in high school at the time. Young people get back to church.
I Thank God I was a part of this Great Album with John P. Kee and David Allen. I have heard many version but we was the original one. Thank you for sharing
I remember singing this song with a choir while serving in the Air Force 30 years ago. We used this original version. I’m so sad that CZcams is the only way to hear now. It’s not available for download. More you could be Blessed. This song will forever be relevant and able to minister to hearts in a powerful way!
I remember being in the junior choir at my church and we performed this. I can believe I remember this song and it was so long ago. I was a kid wow how time flies, now I’m thirty-seven. Rip to my grandmother Rosa Lee Tharp.
This Sista leading this song, is giving me chills!!! The Choir and the music is Awesome as well🎤🎼🎵🎶But most important of all is the message!!( The Lyrics)Peace, Love and Blessings🙏🙏🙏🙏
I have been searching for this version since the late 80's! KTSU would play it on Sundays and would RARELY give the choir's name and if you called them, no one knew WHAT you were talking about! Thank you for posting this!!!!
No greater love than Christ Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, past, present and future. Bruise, pierced, nailed to the cross, blood running down. His love for his people everyone all over the world
Thanks for posting this version of "No Greater Love" @Gospel Nostalgia! Sister Debbie Sloan is no longer present on earth's plane but her spirit and soul is still living and is felt via this recording. She was one of the most beautiful, talented, gifted, humble and compassionate young ladies to step to a microphone and deliver the "Good News" via song! Had this choir stayed together, they most definitely would have been Stellar Award winners! #EvenInDeathLifeMatters
Youth for Christ!!! Imagine over 200 teens from all over Dallas TX... In the mid 80’ we rehearsed for about 6 weeks and put on a musical. This was one of our songs! I wonder if they still have it?
Thank you for this awesome song; but that's not how the story end in three days he rose again that's love. God bless you and I hope you continue to upload the great music from choirs during my time. (The 80's & 90's)
