What is your favorite early wipe gun?
The OP-SKS with a PSO for woods and shoreline, with a Grach for back up, everything else is a Vepr, until I get AKMs. Found a lot of the Eotech Hybrids this wipe so I’ve grown a slight appreciation for that optic.

I'm always running into naked dudes with just a Mosin and it's like Mosin Man has returned. Fought a god with it the other day, brought in class 5 armor and this dude hit 8 shots in a row to the thorax causing me to heal after each one. He killed my duo as well. Finally end up killing this menace and he was just a naked level 34 with a Mosin...
There is also a barter for the ump from mechanic at level 1 for a HDD, a DVD, and 2 capacitors. I think its a really good deal since a single raid/scav on interchange can get you 1-3 UMPs worth of barter items from the huge amount of pcs in OLI.

fun note for the sks, if you switch to your melee weapon before reloading it reloads silently, the only noise you'll be making is switching your weapons. Same with the shotguns
Also u can actually load 10 instead of 9 in the mag
Works for everything really, just right click then click install on mags, or drag and drop ammo for internal magazine guns
VPO 209! .366 EKO has 30 pen. Can be suppressed at lvl 1. Attach gas block hand guard combo from lvl 1. Bastion cover for sights. 10 round mags. It was my go to till lvl 15!
I'm still running around with one at lvl 12, 30 round mags and heavily modified, but still a 209

full auto andy, but I love me those cheap cheap bolties early wipe. The break action 7.62x54r is lots of fun and reminds me of the good times in DayZ
As a fresh player to tarkov this is great. Slowly coming to grips with some of the systems, but still feel overwhelmed by what ammo/guns to use. Thank you

Both AK-74Us are worth mentioning aswell. You can put an optic on both, get alright ammo from the getgo and mod them decently well.
Only gun i use right now. It's full auto and you can buy attachment for light and handle with lvl 1 traders. And T ammo is good enough in the beginning until you unlock PS.

As well in Crack House on Customs in the 1st little office/check in on the right coming through the main door. Look in the locker usually PRS, PS, BT, HP, etc.. most chads leave it behind if they get the crack house spawn so usually even late in raids it’s still therez
I've wiped entire squads with the revolver shotgun and express/magnum buckshot, and it comes back in insurance pretty much every time so I wouldn't underestimate it. The reload time sucks but it also makes me more careful with my shots (and 5 shots is enough in most situations anyway).

I’ve died many a times reloading the SKS. However, it has been hands down my top PMC killer.
not sure what happened this wipe but I was not messing with the SKS's this wipe. Every single other wipe I love them but not this one. This wipe the 9mm smg's did it for me early on . mp5 and mpx were absolute shredders

I've been loving the Mossberg this wipe. They'll never be meta, but pump actions are super fun & way better than they get credit for
I find a lot of success with the shotguns with 12/70 "Poleva-3" Slug. I have gotten a kill at 114 meters. 23k for a gun no mags makes them pretty cheap
sks, vpo (both bolty and 136), and pp19.
They're freaking lit/poggers.
Running the ppsh early levels. I get jumped by a Scav or PMC I react by hip fire spray. Only Ump seems this good for that. Ppsh being dirt cheap, buy off fence or vendor makes re-kitting up So cheap & easy, great on those early fetch quests with more deaths due to mob traffic.
The bayonet addition to the MP5/UMP barters is a drag. I love stocking up on mp5s

Don't forget the TOZ, the TOZ is good now, you can reload it as fast as you can reload a Saiga (ish), and with a Monstrum scope and Poluva slugs, it makes a great unarmored head tapper at medium range... Take this along on your next Woods Scav run
op sks With 4x scope you can buy with 20 round mags have been my friend every wipe and hell just period and the attachments you can buy (when avaliable) help as well its my fav gun easily. even upclose its deadly accurate without laser.point fire.
I find the sks so much good early on, particulary this wipe since we can buy or barter from mecanic a stock that can get a holo scope and a grip, making for around 50k a really cool rifle
I like the AKBS ammo. Adds recoil reduction and accuracy.

I've seen so much PBM ammo in lose spots... It's made the kedr my goto fun gun. It shreds
Side note on the kedr/klin, the PPT ammo available from prapor gives -7 recoil and decent performance at a very reasonable pricing.
PSO has a +10 to accuracy i believe
@@AHoardyBoi I believe so yeah, but imo on a gun like the kedr accuracy isn't as useful if the gun is bouncing everywhere. Just my opinion though.
Anything that can shoot bullets are good for early wipe. The faster or the more It shoots at once is good.

ppsh is so fun for me even more so now that 75 round mags are purchasable at tier 1 prapor
209 is doing solid work for me with eko ammo.
Is it still good? Was concerned that EKO is coming up against better armour by now

The day we get an sks in .366 it'll be over for me. I'll top load .366 fmj on my budget runs for the rest of eternity, it's got good one tap to scavs too the thorax and its got that stank for leg meta in pvp against them thicc bois.
Also revolver shotgun super accurate a and b is also semi automatic, it just takes longer to reload.
I was told the sks shouldn't be used with how bad the ammo is until level 15. I guess they updated something and removed good ammo access for it.
They should change the bullet per bullet reloads in Tarkov, you could have a bunch of bullets in your hand instead of pulling out one by one out of your pocket

Guys question! Is there a way to ( AFTER EXTRACTION ) see of any of SCAVS were actual players ?
As far as I know, no. If they kill you, you can tell, but not if you successfully extract. Best way to tell in raid is by their movement or what they're carrying as player scavs will typically be looting as well.

@@ivanswan3691 Generally people only load in with one gun they think will work on the map they're headed. A shotgun or sub machine gun would be handy on factory but might not play so well on woods or shoreline, ya know? If I'm sniping or using something bolt action I might pack a pistol or light smg as a backup if someone gets close to me but you generally are looking to keep the cost of your load out reasonable, particularly in the beginning. Always playing the risk/reward game

You can buy the UMP for about 32k rubles by buying the knives from Fence
They just updated it so you need a fulcrum knife too which raises the price.

Not sure why no one is talking about the tapco stock for the sks from level 1 mechanic.
becasue its always sold out early wipe. after the first 2 weeks you can start finding them.

The second it was brought up I just yelled PAPASHAAAAAA in my kitchen. 6 out of 100 durability? NO FUCKS GIVEN. 71 round magdump all day. Overheated barrels are for weapons that didnt help win WWII.
Starter sks ammo is poop. Better off using .366 ammo. Use the eko I belive it's called its white and black pens and does better damage then the hp ammo for sks

Lol dude, talking about early game weapons with crap ammo we can get... Meanwhile in actual game... Constantly coming up against fully geared lvl 30+ Chad's with 995 m4s.
While normal folks are struggling with sks and ps ammo. This game has a real issue whereby normal players who can't play 8h hours a day are just so far behind the curve where when you run a raid you get annihilated by Chad's who play all day long. You can't catch up and are constantly bleeding roubles. I'm 5th wipe player and I'm struggling like hell to make roubles. Game needs something done to either increase the availability of better ammo for everyone in all raids or slow down progression big time for no lifers

my favourite early wipe gun is the permaban I got shot with last week, with 0 reason given. Wasn't cheating (I don't cheat, even on single player games so I don't have a cheat engine or anything like that), I never use voip, Don't have an offensive account name or anything. Randomly got banned for no reason, I emailed tarkov support they got back to me with a new code to play on another machine (completely irrelevant to the email, but whatever at least I got a response). Now I need to somehow find a way to make them understand I was banned for no reason, and can they please unban me XD
But ye, this gun is the best gun.
