  • Galeon Yachts’ mission with the 325 GTO is to introduce new owners to the build quality, cruising amenities and handling that so many have come to experience with the brand. The 325 GTO is the smallest Galeon ever built and she's powered by twin outboard engines.

      question, I'm guessing you would pick this over the searay slx 400? May I know the reasoning? is it mostly aesthetic preference? or does the covered cockpit make that much of a difference?

    Hey guys, the new format absolutely rocks! Will you still be doing more of an in-depth features video tho? Would've loved to see the cabin and the deck features in more detail.
    One criticism is I'm really not a fan of the soundtrack. It sounds like low tier royalty free music. I'm not against a soundtrack in principle but the ones your editor chose are awful and are more like what I'd expect a high school video to use.
    Otherwise, loved the content and as a years-long fan, I certainly plan to keep watching!

    Both Galeon and Beneteu now have blatantly ripped off Sea Ray with their 320 sundancer. 32 foot bowrider with a squared off bow and a decent size cabin. Sea Ray released theirs years ago.

    • @jakes5530
      @jakes5530 Před 3 lety +2

      sea ray still looks the best too. This galeon has too many windows on the side, not a fan of it’s overall appearance.

    • @doolittlegeorge
      @doolittlegeorge Před 3 lety

      @@jakes5530 SeaRay is a far better product according to "the hull truth" so hardly a superior "rip off." I think Mercury making a 600 horsepower V12 has changed the Industry meaning the economics of the Yamaha XTO 425s apparently works. If true that will change the US Boating Industry forever as you'll have a luxury yacht for under 40 feet and over time under $40,000 us dollars. Not sure if this hull can handle the XTOs but you don't want it showing on CZcams lacking that imo as it kills the review in a world where first impressions are everything to the viewer.
      Winner going away and still: Yamaha.

    • @benetooo3588
      @benetooo3588 Před 3 lety +3

      The 320 sundancer has sunpads like the Beneteau. The Galeon has an actual bow seating area, and every other manufacturer has multiple steps in their 32' boats including the Sundancer 320.

    • @blewyd
      @blewyd Před 3 lety

      @@jakes5530 yeah I agree. Galleon seems to have a problem with their styling with all of their boats. Sea ray takes the simple an traditional road, which I personally prefer and it will look got even in 15 years.

      @blewyd Před 3 lety

      @@doolittlegeorge I didn't mean a direct ripoff I know that Sea Ray builds a better product than Galleon. I was referring to the layout and design of the boat, which seems to be almost identical to what sea ray had made.

    I have seen many of these boats and after a year or two the fit and finish looks like crap. Plus, with so many manufacturing jobs being lost in the U.S., boats are one of the few industries that still prosper here. I prefer to buy American for my boats - Formula, Yellowfin and Boston Whaler. For this style of boat, I would buy the Sea Ray or look at Formula since the depreciation of the Galeon will far offset any upfront savings. No Aquila for me either.
