*💯😂Great for a family of 2 or 3. It cooks quinoa, white, jasmine **MyBest.Kitchen** and brown rice really well. 💤Easy to clean and store because of the size. We haven't used the steamer part of it yet.*
yes it come with one
Thanks so much for the video. Got distracted and accidentally poured dry rice directly into the cooker without the pan. Was able to get it open and empty the rice with the knowledge of the hidden screw.
Showing me how easy that bottom popped off saved me $45, and made me look like a hero to wife, who dropped rice in hers BEFORE she put the pan in. THANKS!
The loud speaker was so annoying I was going to return it. Thanks to this video I was able to locate the speaker and lightly poke the center with a jewelers screwdriver through the bottom vent vane. No need to take anything apart. Now it's almost silent. Perfect! Thanks for making my life easier. 🎉
I was looking for a way to take apart and *clean* the inside of the unit after something boiled up and over and made a mess! I guess I'll have to keep looking! Interesting video, though. :-D
Thank you. I found to clip open from the hidden screw area is much easier
Dude you said you’d get back to the hinge of the lid. You didn’t. Thats the part I was interested in.
Saaaaaaaame
Once that screw is off the plastic pivots and unsnaps off. There are two little metal wire elbows that you pull sideways and out. The lid should come off then.
Thank you Sir...I took mine apart, but it sat for a long time before I tried to reassemble it...couldn't remember how that rubber gasket was oriented. you're the man!
Thanks for this! I have a Hamilton Beach rice cooker, and it almost comes apart in the same way as this one. It helps to take things apart when they need a deep clean
Thank you so much. It helped us a lot. We followed the exact your instructions, our rice cooker problem got solved. Highly appreciated your help🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 once again thank you so much such a wonderful guidance.
Hey thanks. Better you experience with the screwdriver than me🙂 Got mine popped open and then found the screw under the sticker. Thank you.
Thanks much . When my aroma arrived it was leaning to one side. Called prime for return label .Prime returned funds to my acct. Told me dispose it. Could not find a way to open it ,until I watch your video , and discovered hidden screw under label. One side of the base was pushed up inside the unit . Pleasant surprise, base screw was not lined up with upper unit hole that's why it was leaning . Glad I didn't dump it, I had nothing to lose by pursuing a possible fix. Thanks again, it works perfectly and I earned my free rice cooker.👨🏻🚒
thank you for watching the video and I am glad it helped you.
Thanks for this video. It saved me a lot of time figuring out how to disassemble a rice cooker I was asked to work on.
The secret screw! Who knew! Thank you for making this video. You saved my rice-filled rice cooker.
Thank you so much, now a can cook my pasta. I'm an over the road truck driver, and this mean a lot to me.
Thank u for the info. Just what I needed to know 👌
Thank you! Most helpful. I wanted to disable the alarm. Now I see how I can do it.
Very good. My LEDs quit working. The pot works fine, but the buttons don't light up. It's such a good cooker, I'd like to fix it in case it's just a broken wire or something. I had no clue how to get it apart without ruining it. Nice to know what's under that seal plate in the lid, too. Nothing. LOL. Not as daunting as I thought. My seal is pretty torn up, too. Now I just gotta find a new one.
Thank you. This was very helpful.
I just want to know how to clean around the disc at the bottom with the button in the middle of it. I don't care how it works. I must want to make sure it's clean.
thumbs up, had to rip off the speaker cuz its annoying as hell when it beeps after cooking. thanks!
Thanks so much. We couldn't figure out how to get the bottom off my Aldi cooker. It's not heating up, though the controller thinks it is. My spouse can likely repair it now that we can get it open. I hated to send it to the dump. In comparison, I have an Instant Pot brand pressure cooker and it is a dream to open, no hidden screws! Totally comes apart to clean. (Ask me how I know, lol. Black bean juice everywhere.)
thanks for your good job. it does a great help for me.
Thanks for the guidance :-) I would have never found that hidden screw.
I used 220 v current and burned by rice cooker, any idea what I need to replace, if possible?
Thank you for the video. I took mine apart, but see nothing damaged.
Cool intro. Great video. Btw I press the red button.
thanks for watching i will check out your channel today.
Tip: if you remove that hidden screw first you can press a driver on the hole and then pop the bottom off
Does the lid come off?
What about the upper lid!? i was looking for this. BTW amazing video!
Me too, that's all I wanted to know was how to get the lid off, he skipped over that and never went back to it, lol...
You completely miss the thermal fuse connected to the heater (red wires)
So no fuses that can be replaced on this model? I have the same one, but it stopped heating properly. I was hoping it just needed a fuse replacement, but I don’t see any fuses.
Same here. I was hoping he pulled the thicker white cable to see if there was a fuse inside
Just opened mine. The red wire that had a white sleeve has the fuse.
Youre a life saver. Thanks!
great info
thank you for watching
Good information but: I have a problem E5 code in my AROMA ARC 5000 Can you help me? Thanks a lot
Hi . Have u got solution to the E5 error. If u know pls share with me pls
Nice new intro
thank you and thanks for watching the video
the secret screw doesn't want to screw back in once i put the bottom back on... any advice?
Yyut
@@fairuzm.a.8849 ty that was very helpful
Really late to comment on this. That black box is a relay. That big white box is a resistor. The black heat shrunk thing my guess is a fuse. Just had to take mine apart because it's not really heating up enough to cook the rice.
Can you take apart the lid please?
Thanks for demonstrating how to remove the lid. The instructions that came with my 8 cup Aroma didn't clarify.
It isn't clarified in the instructions for the smaller ones either. I am wondering what I will find under that piece when i take it apart tomorrow. 🤔
Did you see the diodes?
the hidden screw! of course! :-)
Appreciate the video. The device is designed like garbage. Spill anything dry in it, and it's full of it. But I comment to say that in my frustration of prying the thing apart, I gave up and placed the screwdriver right at the front in the middle and stuck it in the crack and just smashed it into it with my hand like a hammer. Popped it right apart. edit: I don't know if it's mentioned in the video, but mine had a screw on the back under the model / warning label (opposite side of the control panel). It's under the label and had to be unscrewed by piercing the sticker or the bottom would not come off. Best to unscrew it before trying to pop the bottom off or you'll possibly break the part where that screw threads into.
jajaja loke andava buscando grasias
what about the lid? Did you find out how to take it off?
That's what I want to know too.
I was also hoping for the lid removal... 😐
Same here, I'm looking forward for the lid removal..
I did it by removing the screw on the backplate and jiggling it off, itll expose the hinges which are made up of two little aluminum rods you can just pull off with your hands and itll release the lid, the lid is literally a huge hunk of plastic
Can you share the video plz
Yea how to I clean the god damn lid and the joist from the damn first screw?
Never mind. Needed a second pair of eyes.
trying to a replacement thermal sensor for the arc-150sb
What about the lid
Somebody now we’re to order the bottom cover of the rice cooker we’re the electric cable go
Capacitors?
a device used to store an electric charge, consisting of one or more pairs of conductors separated by an insulator.
1:56min in stopped watching. I just wanted to clean the darn thing. So I learned that they aren't made with that in mind. Thanks anyway.
I'm looking to take that speaker out. that shit is loud as F*ck
You didn’t even take off the top😤
What is this 😂😂
you have no idea what you're doing.
thank you
🤣🤣🤣🤣leave it to a man to break it alllllllll the way down just to see how it ticks 😜🙃🙂
