I am a simple Ukrainian girl, I am 17 years old, I live in Kyiv.
I had many goals and dreams!
But there was a war. Russia attacked my country. 4 days we sit in fear. Outside the window, explosions, automatic bursts, it's very scary.
I planned to move to America in the future. Or to Europe to become a world star. But this is in the future, these were plans, get a visa, get on a plane and start a new life.
But now I'm crying, out of fear, my mother reads a prayer all the time.
In the early days, we were unable to leave on the evacuation train to the border, now we have a curfew,
if in the coming days I manage to survive, I'm afraid every night, maybe my mom and my cats, we can get on at least some train, and we can survive. I pray for it.
This cover, I recorded it in my favorite room, which I dreamed of since childhood, and which I will have to leave so quickly, fleeing the bombs of Russia.
If I stay alive, I will continue to sing, and I will try to achieve my goal! Thank you all for your support!

I am concerned about your future. Neither staying at home (and hoping that someone stops Putin) nor leaving through a potential combat zone is really safe. It's very scary to hear that a rocket hit so close to you. Sleeping in the hallway sounds like a good idea. Even if there wasn't a curfew, staying off of the streets sounds sensible.

My dearest Victory, This rendition of "Hallelujah" was the most beautifully sung version I've ever heard!! You have without question the most beautiful voice I've heard in a long time.!! But I also hear a cry for help in your voice! I can't begin to tell you how much it breaks my heart to have to listen to a beautiful young woman as your self talk about things like "IF I SURVIVE" or "IF I LIVE"!! Not in this era! No 17 year old girl or anyone for that matter should have to put their dreams, their plans on hold because of a tyrant like PUTIN. I sincerely pray that you, your mom and your beloved cats do indeed make it to the United States. Until then I'll continue to hope and pray that we here in the US along with other members of NATO come to their senses and do more to bring a quick end to this terrible war!!!!
