This isn't technically a thrift flip challenge video, but I had so much material leftover from my last video with Adey! I am all about sustainability on my channel, so I decided to make a second dress. I took an old, baggy linen dress and turned it into this preppy feminine inspired mini dress with a statement collar. I also made a matching dress for my pup Daisy and I think it may be the most adorable thing I've ever made her!

So glad you had enough to make the pleats! Aside from the collar, that's a real feature point. Love the tuck pleats at the front of the bodice. A good choice instead of the dart. Such a cute finished project!

You are so talented!!! I love watching & learning from your great videos. The only thing is that not all of us are a size 2. Some of us have double digit sizes. FYI: I wear size 10/12 on the bottom & 14-ish on the top. It's much more difficult to flip a size 12 dress into a garment for someone who is size 12 or larger.
It would be fantastic if you could demonstrate flipping for those of us who wear sizes closer to real word USA 'normal' clothes. Trust me, the larger the size the greater the difficultly in fitting a pattern to piece of reclaimed fabric. It would be AMAZING to see you work your magic. Plus we'd all learn so much from a larger sized flip.

I wanna make this dress after I complete my exams and studies and that is some of a lot of work we don't have thrift stores in India but I ll buy linen and I get it custom tailored 👍
