A very special back to school lookbook that I poured blood (literally my ankles are still scabbed up from dancing in my docs without breaking them in first), sweat (as you can see in like 60% of these shots, i am shinier than a disco ball), and about $100 worth of random af props into. Wow this was incredible. I know you posted on Instagram about how hard you had been working on it, but I was still just expecting a normal lookbook for some reason. This actually had me feeling some type of way... high school was scary and I remember being nervous to dress how I wanted. You just seem so happy and full of life during the whole video and you can tell how much work you put in with all the different locations and outfits. Is it weird to say I'm so proud of you???? This video was just so good.

I can relate so much to being afraid of wearing what I loved to school, but she really radiated the confidence I need to feel confident in myself. i'll always love her content and her constant positivity. thank you for helping those of us who feel afraid come out into the light and do/wear what we love.

last year my style was completely different to how i dress now. last year i’d wear t-shirts and jeans (or whatever was kind of in). but this year, because of your videos, i’ve become more confident with my style and i’m so glad i did. i wore a dress for the first day of school- which is something i’d never do- and the following week i wore a skirt. i just want to say thank you for inspiring me and others to go out of our comfort zone when it comes to things we wear. you really are my fashion icon!!

I'm rewatching her videos but I can't help but tear up. This was one of my favourite lookbooks she ever made. And it's so creative and warm that I actually realise all her hardwork for all these years. I miss these twt, she used to work five jobs in highschool just to go to college and go to good ol' goodwill for a nice funny thrift haul, and the fact that she's open-minded and kind of insecure about herself but is still confident af is just amazing.
