I really love these automatic chicken doors. Chickens are awake as the sun is coming up and you don’t necessarily want to be outside opening the doors. This allows you to have that freedom of getting time for your coffee or working on something else instead of running around opening doors for animals. The saying, “the early bird catches the worm “allows the chickens to get outside early when the dew is still on the ground and a lot of worms will be found by the chickens now that this automatic door lets them out at dawn😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Yes!! Get up earlier and have your coffee first - leisurely, so you can have creative thinking time. The whole day will go better. :)

I always do coffee and then chores, usually up between 5-5:30am. Neat door!

Always like following your endeavors on the new farm. Quick suggestion - longer vlogs (in the range of 18-24 minutes). We wouldn't mind watching the chickens be chickens and the pigs being pigs. Those pigs are ADORABLE!

Jason you are just so funny, I laugh so hard at your videos sometimes. But man I enjoy them just so much, seeing how much the homestead has changed since you all have gotten there is amazing. To think those lights had not been on in over twenty years is crazy but you know it happens I guess if they had no need to use the barn. But one that nice I would been using it every day. Loving all the content you all are bringing to us is so great. I get excited when I see you have uploaded a video.

I’ve had the Omlet coop door for a year now. It’s absolutely worth the money.!! Without the coop light my batteries are at 60% at six months. Yes, it tells you remaining battery percentage.

I love your farm and your spirit. I’m from Canada Northern Canada and I grew up on a farm. I’m 63 years old and what keeps me going is the young people that keep the farms going. I know what good chicken taste like. And you guys have the best life love to all.
Hi Jason, i think you need coffee first. As soon as i get out of bed my hubby has the coffee on brewing while i have a shower. I just dont function without caffeine. He calls me the bear til I’ve had my coffee lol

Today was a pain day for me too. I suffer from chronic pain and today was what I call a fire day because that is how it feels. Like my legs are on fire!
Even with fully enclosed run (including roof) I love having an automatic coop door (different brand). It doesn't really make as much sense, but it's still a nice peace of mind that they're in the super secure coop.

I have had an Omelet Automatic Door for my chickens for over two years now and it's been great. The batteries do indeed last over six months. I would highly recommend it. Cheers!

Love the Omlet door. We have one and it’s awesome!!
Some days are work days, but get your rest too. With autoimmune disease rest is extremely important. Either you take rest days or your body will INSIST you rest. I deal with that myself I have psoriatic arthritis, which is autoimmune. The last few days I ignored that tired and needing rest feeling and kept on pushing. Today I am paying the price, in pain and not moving. Learn from my mistakes. Take care.

Your cattle are the sweetest most calm babies. You are lucky to get ones with such nice temperament. We got some calves once and they were so wild you couldn't get near them. They would run if you got near them.

I had a solar door on my chicken house and it saved me so much time. it even allowed me to leave my chickens for a number of days not needing to run down and open and close the coop every day/

The mineral feeder - try an 8-10" nail shoved through the skid. I would think 1 or 2 cshould do.
